This is an opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, taking responsibility for the design, development, commissioning and ongoing support of Fire & Gas systems from concept through to handover.\nWorking closely with clients, suppliers and multidisciplinary project teams, you will deliver safe, reliable and cost-effective solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, modify and support Fire & Gas systems throughout the project lifecycle.\nProduce engineering documentation including system designs, calculations, cause & effect diagrams and technical specifications.\nDevelop equipment specifications, technical requisitions and verify material compliance.\nPrepare work packs, procedures and technical instructions, ensuring appropriate review and approval.\nSupport Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning and troubleshooting activities.\nEnsure compliance with client requirements, industry standards and relevant legislation.\nWork closely with clients, vendors, subcontractors and project teams to deliver successful project outcomes.\nManage project delivery from planning through to completion, maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.\nMonitor project performance, budgets and resource requirements, providing regular updates to clients and management.\nRaise material and service requisitions, support procurement activities and track project expenditure.\nIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance project performance.\nEnsure all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) requirements are met and documentation is completed in line with company and client standards.\nWhat We're Looking For\nQualifications & Experience\nHNC/HND or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation & Control Engineering or equivalent.\nFire & Gas vendor training/certification such as Autronica, Siemens, Honeywell, Dräger or equivalent.\nExperience designing and supporting Fire & Gas systems within industrial, oil & gas, marine or energy environments.\nKnowledge of relevant industry standards and legislation.\nAutoCAD experience is desirable.\n Desirable CertificationsCOMPEX Ex01-04.\nBOSIET/FOET.\nMIST.\nOGUK Medical.\n(Candidates willing to obtain the above certifications will also be considered.)Skills & Attributes\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nCustomer-focused with a collaborative approach.\nExcellent planning and organisational abilities.\nAnalytical problem solver with strong commercial awareness.\nAble to prioritise effectively and perform under pressure.\nProfessional, adaptable and committed to continuous development.\nWhy Join Us?\nYou'll be part of a team that values safety, technical excellence and professional development.
