It can land on short airstrips, enabling on-demand point-to-point flights and autonomous logistics even to the most remote locations that would otherwise take days to reach over ground or sea.\nWe are starting with domestic air networks in Europe, bringing back to life the multitude of small airfields that are often unused, boosting local infrastructure and economies.\nRequirements\nThe Role\nReporting to the Head of Flight Test, the Flight Test Director will be responsible for definition of and completion of test flights and follow-on development and acceptance of the flight test program of Black Swan Aircraft and ancillary assets.\nThe Responsibilities:\nDefinition of flight test plan with Head of Flight Test, Head of the Design Organisation and Director of Flight Operations.\n\nCreation of Flight Test Cards / agreement of Test Points.\n\nSupport of Flight Readiness Reviews and Safety Review Boards.\n\nManagement of Flight Test in different testing sites.\n\nCreation and issue of Post Test Report.\n\nCompletion of First Flight review.\n\nParticipate in and support the test program design reviews, schedule meetings, liaison with test site management.\n\nMaturity and professionalism to lead the execution of flight test briefings and missions and oversee a team of disciplined engineers.\n\nWrite and review flight tests and safety plans. Brief safety packages to Test team and Management team.\n\nReview, update and brief Risk Hazard Analysis.\n\nMonitor performance parameters of experimental and operational systems during flights.\n\nMust work well in a team environment as well as independently.\n\nPosition requires willingness to accept changing and evolving roles & responsibilities in support of the flight test program.\n\nThe role involves frequent travel to Flight Test Sites.
