Revenue increased from A$57 million in 2024 to more than A$217 million in 2025, supported by record profitability, a global sales pipeline exceeding A$2.5 billion, and annual R&D investment of over A$50 million. \nSince 2017,DroneShield has grown from 11 employees to more than 550 globally, with operations across Australia, the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, supporting customers in over 70 countries. \nDroneShield's Amsterdam office serves as the company's European hub, supporting regional customers, partnerships, and growth across defence, security, and critical infrastructure markets. \nAbout the role \nDroneShield is looking to recruit Inside Sales Representative whose responsibilities will be critical in helping the business run smoothly during its next phase of growth. The position will be part of the Sales Team and will report to Senior Commercial Director. They will work closely with the Australian, Asia-Pac, LATAM, European and Middle Eastern sales teams. This role will suit someone with excellent attention to detail and a passion for technology who wants to develop their career in a fast-moving ASX listed defence technology company. \nResponsibilities, Duties and Expectations \nCreate and prioritise strategic target account lists \nQualify all leads and understand the pain points of each customer \nPerform research on potential customers and identify the key contacts \nQualify resellers and distributors \nProspect and qualify leads using a variety of sources \nWork with the broader team to set meetings, conduct demos, and visit prospects \nMaintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications \nConduct high level conversations with counterparties in prospect accounts \nProvide input in writing product manuals and Standard Operating Procedures \nAssist in providing distributor and end customer training in product use \nHelp coordinate marketing events/exhibitions and attend when needed \nGenerate quotes for resellers on qualified opportunities and follow up as required \nQualifications, Experience and Skills \nIdeally 3-5 years sales experience is desired, but this role is also open to graduates \nDefence or security sector experience is well regarded \nTechnical degree is well regarded, and in absence of it, need demonstrated track record of ability to grasp technical concepts \nProven track record of success \nAbility to work autonomously and as part of a geographically distributed team \nExcellent written/verbal communication \nMotivated self-starter \nTechnology sector experience is well regarded, but not required \nHigh degree of attention to detail \nCreative lateral thinker \nNote for recruitment agencies: We do not accept unsolicited candidates from external recruiters unless specifically instructed.\nData Privacy\nDroneShield Group Pty Ltd collects and processes personal information for recruitment and hiring purposes.
