markets. \nAbout the role \nThe Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating DroneShield’s logistics activities across Europe, supporting the movement of products between DroneShield customers, distributors, suppliers, demonstration locations and other business partners.\nThe position will work closely with the Australian Team, as well as European Sales, Operations and other internal stakeholders, to ensure shipments are executed efficiently and in accordance with applicable customs, logistics and export control requirements.\nResponsibilities, Duties and Expectations \nManage and coordinate European and international shipments, working with freight forwarders and customs brokers\nTake ownership of day-to-day logistics activities in Europe, including inbound and outbound shipments and coordination of urgent or time-sensitive movements\nPrepare and review commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping instructions and other dispatch documentation, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate before shipment\nCoordinate the import and export of goods into and from Europe, including working with customs brokers to facilitate customs clearance\nSupport DroneShield’s busy schedule of international demonstrations, trade shows and events, including temporary exports/imports and the subsequent return or onward movement of equipment\nCoordinate the logistics component of RMA and repair movements, including equipment returning from customers or distributors and subsequent re-export or delivery\nTrack stock movements between DroneShield locations, customers, distributors, demonstrations and other external locations\nWork across Sales, Production, Engineering, Finance and other internal teams to support delivery schedules and project deadlines\nSupport correct application of Incoterms, customs valuation, country of origin and import/export documentation requirements\nCoordinate shipments involving dangerous goods or controlled goods where applicable, working with the appropriate internal specialists and logistics providers\nMaintain appropriate shipment and customs records to support internal controls, audits and regulatory requirements\nProvide visibility to the Australian team and relevant European stakeholders regarding shipment status, delays, customs clearances\nQualifications, Experience and Skills \nBachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience\nApproximately 5+ years of relevant logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain or international trade experience, preferably including responsibility for international shipments\nStrong practical knowledge of European import and export processes and customs requirements\nExperience working directly with customs brokers, freight forwarders, couriers, customers and distributors across multiple countries\nStrong knowledge of Incoterms, customs duties and taxes, customs valuation, country of origin and import/export documentation\nExperience managing temporary exports/imports, demonstration equipment, returns or RMA shipments is highly desirable\nExperience with dangerous goods and/or controlled goods shipments is desirable\nKnowledge or experience with international export controls, including EU Dual-Use controls, Australian export controls, EAR and ITAR, is highly desirable\nExperience working within the defence, counter-UAS, aerospace, electronics or other regulated technology sectors would be advantageous\nStrong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing customs and shipping documentation\nAbility to work autonomously and take ownership of European logistics matters while operating as part of a geographically distributed global team\nStrong ability to prioritise multiple urgent shipments, meet deadlines and operate effectively under pressure\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve freight, customs and delivery matters proactively\nClear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external logistics
