A small drop that makes a big difference.\nYour Role\nDroppie and its app are only three years old and have grown rapidly. In addition, there are some ambitious plans for further expansion. Your challenge will be to both improve existing features and create new features while also making sure that the software is scalable for a significant increase in users. You’ll work in a small team in close collaboration with the tech lead, software developer and data scientist. Together, we will ensure Droppie continues to grow and make an even greater social impact on the world!\nWhat will you be doing?\nYou will independently design, build, test, and deploy features, and you know when to ask for help during that process.\n\nYou will work across various codebases, typically building features from start to finish.\n\nYou will contribute to architectural decisions, review colleagues' code, and safeguard the quality of the codebase.\n\nTogether with colleagues from other Droppie departments, you will determine what needs to be built and why.\n\nRequirements\nYour profile\nYou have 3 years experience as a software developer, including experience with:\nTypeScript or Javascript\n\nReact or React Native, ideally both\n\nMongoDB; experience with PostgreSQL is a plus\n\nNode.js/Express\n\nIn addition:\nYou are fluent in English, as English is the team's working language\n\nYou know how to utilize AI tools like claude code in combination with your own knowledge and skills\n\nYou are available for at least 32 hours a week, including one day in the office\n\nYou feel at home in an inclusive organization where everyone is welcome, and you work with patience and understanding alongside colleagues who sometimes need a little extra support\n\nNice to have:\nYou have released apps to App Store or Google Play before\n\nYou’ve worked with Firebase and/or Google Cloud\n\nExperience with payment integrations, webhooks or external API’s\n\nExperience with automated testing using Jest\n\nWhat do we offer?\nAn opportunity to work with impact driven colleagues on software that actually impacts the world in a positive way\n\nA small team at a startup with plenty of opportunities to design and develop features from start to finish\n\nA full-time gross monthly salary between €3,400 and €3,900, depending on your years of experience\n\n25 vacation days + 8% holiday allowance\n\nCompany Pension plan\n\nA contribution towards your gym membership\n\nPlenty of room for professional development and career growth within a circular startup.\nInterested?\nDo you want to make an impact at Droppie?
