You will own front-end systems for teleoperation, including WebXR / VR experiences that let operators see through and command our robots in real time.\nYou will work closely with designers and robotics engineers to turn rough ideas into production-grade interfaces.\nThis role is based on-site in San Francisco, CA.\nIn This Role, You'll\nFront-End & WebXR / VR Development\nBuild and own web and WebXR / VR interfaces for teleoperation and operator workflows\n\nDevelop real-time, low-latency UIs that stream robot data and video\n\nImprove usability and performance across internal and external product surfaces\n\nDesign-to-Production\nWork closely with designers to bring concepts into production\n\nIterate quickly based on operator and team feedback\n\nCollaboration\nPartner with robotics and backend engineers to integrate front-end systems with the control stack\n\nHelp maintain a consistent, high-quality interface across products\n\nWork Environment & Schedule\nOn-site in San Francisco, CA\n\nFull-time\n\nCompensation: $130K-$175K base salary, plus equity\nWe're Looking For Candidates Who\nHave strong front-end engineering skills (JavaScript / TypeScript, modern frameworks)\n\nHave experience building WebXR, VR, WebGL, or other real-time / 3D web interfaces\n\nHave experience designing practical, user-centered workflows\n\nCan collaborate closely with designers and engineers in a fast-paced environment\n\nNice to have:\nExperience with VR or teleoperation interfaces\n\nExperience in robotics, industrial, or highly technical products\n\nFamiliarity with real-time video / data streaming (WebRTC)\n\nAbout Droyd\nDroyd builds autonomous robotic systems that operate in real production environments.
