We build faster that way.\nIn this role, you’ll\nDesign and implement backend systems that integrate AI models with robotic hardware\n\nWork on projects such as data pipelines, embedded and systems software, observability tooling, and fleet infrastructure\n\nHelp build and optimize low-latency streaming and video processing pipelines\n\nSupport integrations with external robotic systems, including ROS2 nodes and hardware interfaces\n\nWe’re looking for candidates who\nAre current juniors or seniors (or equivalent) studying computer science, computer engineering, or a related field\n\nAre comfortable programming in languages such as Python, C++, or Rust\n\nHave interest or experience in systems programming, embedded software, or robotics\n\nAre willing to balance school and work in a fast-paced environment\n\nTake ownership, learn quickly, and can carry projects forward with guidance\n\nNice to have\nExperience with Linux systems, networking, or process management\n\nExposure to hardware interfaces such as UART, I2C, CAN, or similar protocols\n\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD, or real-time systems\n\nAbout Droyd\nDroyd builds autonomous robotic systems to automate manual work for enterprises.
