The candidate will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their stability and performance. They will have a technical background, a strong analytical thinker, and a proven ability to analyze complex solutions and define the appropriate test strategy.\nThey will be a determined individual, who is confident to probe and question, and work with Developers and Product Owners to understand requirements and develop and maintain automated and manual tests. They will be responsible for active issue management in coordination within the team, communicating the cause, effect, and impact of those issues to the team, who can then prioritize appropriately. You will be responsible for coding, testing, and maintaining software systems, while mentoring and building the test capabilities of the agile teams. \nReporting to the Director of Engineering, the candidate will recognize areas for improvement across process, tooling, and ways of working, to identify quality approaches that can benefit your team and others. \nWhat You Will Do:\nDeveloping and maintaining test automation solutions, creating test plans, and test strategies for testing multiple product features\n\nWill consistently test the product and be an SME for at least one component of the product\n\nWorks across teams to capture gaps and improve existing test plans for product features\n\nClearly communicates with Product team and understands requirements and is able to formulate test plans and estimates \n\nConfident to participate and provide inputs, and work on cross-product company initiatives\n\nAutomation first approach for development and continuous testing\n\nDevelops and maintains test automation frameworks\n\nAccurately Monitor Test Automation results and log bugs against the product and the tests\n\nIs able to quickly analyze failures and trace back to issues in the product or the automation suite \n\nWorks closely with the developers to perform feature testing to ensure timely delivery \n\nDemonstrates a strong sense of ownership and accountability for progress - finds path when stuck with any issues or escalates if needed\n\nWork with the DevOps and/or CloudOps teams to review test environments and processes to facilitate continuous improvement and maintenance of quality standards\n\nDemonstrates application of new tools, approaches, and methods\n\nContribute to design reviews\n\nWhat We Are Looking For:\nEducated to degree level or master’s degree\n\nMinimum of 5 years’ experience working in a Test Engineer/Test Analyst position\n\nExperienced in Automation testing using Pytest, Cypress, etc.\n\nWorking knowledge of REST APIs - Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, or other API testing frameworks\n\nCoding competency in NodeJS, JavaScript and/or Python \n\nExperience working within CI/CD environments - Jenkins.\n\nWorking knowledge of Test support tools - JIRA, Confluence, XRAY. \n\nExperience in Cloud Technologies (preferably AWS, Azure) is a distinct advantage \n\nGood Database Knowledge (SQL, Oracle Database)\n\nAny knowledge or background with backups and storage domains\n\nWorking knowledge of Docker\n\nHighly skilled and efficient in creating test strategies \n\nExcellent critical thinking skills\n\nAWS Accreditation a plus\n\nKnowledge of Performance testing \n\nPossesses excellent interpersonal skills including communication and assertiveness\n\nDemonstrates a strong passion to learn\n\nKnowledge of vulnerability and security concerns beneficial\n\nWhy You’ll Love Working Here\nInnovation is how we operate, not a side project.
