About Role:  

This role will be with Cloud Apps Org in Hyderabad, responsible for building key SaaS and Identity workloads. This team is responsible for providing architectural components for supporting core operations of multiple SaaSApps workloads. 

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer in the platform team, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of software modules owned by a team. Your primary focus will be on the development of all backend server-side components and ensuring high performance and responsiveness from the front end. You will guide and mentor junior team members by reviewing their code and designs to ensure that they are writing well designed and high-quality code. This role requires excellent communication skills as you will need to collaborate across teams.

Key Skills

• 6 - 9 years of experience, preferably in a product company.
• Extensive hands-on experience in Go/Python/C/C++/Java or any other Object-Oriented Language
• Excellent programming skills along with Data structures, Algorithms, Design Concepts
• Strong experience in working with SoA (Service oriented Architecture)
• Experience in Cloud Technologies (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with third party API integrations at scale (preferred).

• Hands-on experience with at least one of the GenAI based development. (Cursor/Claude/Co-pilot/Windsurf/etc).

Desirable Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiar with Agile methodologies like Scrum etc.
• Knowledge of the Backup and Recovery domain will be an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Dockers and Kubernetes will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365, or identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, and Active Directory, will be an advantage.

Role and Responsibilities:

• The Engineer's role is to be the technical leader in building enterprise grade scalable, performant systems which deliver the required functionality to the customers delight.
• Should be able to design and implement sufficiently large and complex features and/or architectural improvements to the product.
• Suggest and propose solutions to complex design problems.
• Identify areas of engineering improvements to the product and work with product architects and the team to address them.
• Should be able to technically guide junior engineers with feature design and review design and implementation done by junior engineers.
• Should be able to generate detailed Specs for development via GenAI.
• Should be able to independently handle complex escalations and guide others.
• Be able to write technical blogs and make technical presentations in internal and external forums.

          B.Tech / B.E / M.E. / M.Tech (Computer Science) or equivalent
