You would be part of a highly talented team contributing to the growth of our clients like NASA, PwC, Xerox, Louis Vuitton, etc.\nRoles and Responsibilities:\nWe are seeking a highly motivated SRE Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving the cloud infrastructure that powers Druva's SaaS platform. This role requires strong expertise in AWS/Azure, Infrastructure as Code, automation, observability, and operational excellence. The engineer will work closely with Development, DevOps, Security, and Product teams to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and security.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDeploy, maintain, and support a highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure hosting Druva's SaaS products on AWS and Azure. \nBuild and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and container orchestration platforms such as Amazon ECS and AKS. \nCollaborate with Engineering and DevOps teams to ensure smooth application deployments, infrastructure readiness, and operational excellence. \nMonitor production environments and proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and application issues.\n Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to improve platform visibility and reliability.\nParticipate in incident response, root cause analysis, and problem management activities to minimise service disruptions and prevent recurring issues. \nContribute to automation initiatives by developing scripts, tools, and operational workflows that improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. \nOptimize AWS/Azure resource utilization and support cloud cost management initiatives through continuous analysis and implementation of best practices. \nSupport security and compliance requirements by implementing infrastructure best practices, patching, vulnerability remediation, and access controls. \nParticipate in disaster recovery testing, infrastructure upgrades, and platform maintenance activities. \n Participate in on-call rotations and provide timely support for production environments and critical business services.\nDocument operational procedures, runbooks, architecture diagrams, and troubleshooting guides to improve team knowledge and operational readiness. \nStay current with AWS services, cloud technologies, and industry best practices, and contribute ideas for continuous improvement. \nMentor junior engineers and actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions within the team.\nRequired Skills:\n Must Have Skills: 3-6 years of experience in Linux (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu) environments. 3+ years hands-on experience of Cloud providers such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. \nStrong in Network Infrastructures. \nStrong experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools. \n Experience working with Linux-based systems and cloud networking concepts.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. \nExperience with scripting languages such as Python or Shell. \nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nGood To Have Skills: \nKnowledge of deploying containerized services with Docker and/or Kubernetes. \nSQL / Database knowledge. \nKnowledge of cloud security best practices and experience implementing security measures. \nCloud Certification, such as AWS Cloud Solution Architect -
