You will sit at the intersection between tradfi and blockchain technology, engaging with customers to bring traditional OTC transactions on to the Canton Blockchain for Digital Affirmation, Life Cycle Management, and Atomic Settlement.\nThis is a role for a business-builder with strategic vision and proven commercial talent.\nKey responsibilities\nClient Development:\nWorking with directly with the US located CEO, engage with firms active in the OTC trading space that are moving toward or are live with Crypto technology and the Canton Network\nBuild deep partnerships across TradFI and DeFI firms to move from initial trades to full scale participation\nAssist with client onboarding and trading set up\nMonitor regulatory developments and competitive landscape across TradFi and crypto markets\nBusiness Development & Partnerships\nWork with DRW relationship managers and trading team to maintain existing relationships and liquidity provision arrangements, including with our traditional institutional trading counterparts\nIdentify and secure new partnerships with key market participants like token and perps issuers, infrastructure providers, exchanges, custodians, and intermediaries\nEngage with regulators, industry bodies and standard-setting organizations\nExecution & Growth\nLead commercial structuring and negotiations for new products and opportunities\nWork with internal legal, compliance and operations\nRepresent the firm at industry events and forums\nRequired Experience\n5+ years in business development, strategy, or commercial roles in financial markets\ndeep understanding of both TradFi equities markets AND crypto/digital assets - familiarity with tokenisation technology, smart contracts and blockchain infrastructure, as well as equity execution, settlement and financing\nproven track record of building early businesses or developing new products or revenue streams\nstrong network across traditional finance and crypto ecosystems\nexperience structuring complex commercial partnerships\nself-starter mentality -
