The position offers a unique opportunity to influence the design and architecture of a high-performance trading system and ensure efficient development and deployment of revenue-generating solutions as part of an innovative front office team. Candidates should have strong initiative and proven experience driving projects from inception to completion. We work from high-level requirements and programmers are expected to gain an intimate understanding of the business and work directly with Traders and Quantitative Researchers on a daily basis.\nResponsibilities\nWork as part of our global team of Software Engineers embedded in our Global Delta One business, working on its multi-asset trading platform\nImprove existing code and develop new tools\nCollaborate directly with traders and researchers to identify solutions and/or create technical specifications and clearly articulate value add of new capabilities\nManage a technology backlog from ideation to deployment\nCollaborate with traders, researchers, software engineers and support teams elsewhere in the organization\nQualifications\nStrong preference for experience developing trading-related software or coming from a complex technology-based organization\nBetween 1-4 years of professional development, demonstrating excellent, detailed understanding of Python\nAble to analyse business requests and translate into technical specifications and solutions\nAble to teach others\nExperience optimising distributed systems\nExperience of data-intensive systems development\nExcellent communication and organizational skills\nMust be able to come into our London office five days per week\nExperience with other programming languages is a plus\nFor more
