This is an opportunity to solve challenging problems while working closely with experienced traders, researchers and software engineers to optimize operational workflow and use the right tools and technology for the job. \nResponsibilities\nTake full ownership of the products you create, from prototype to stable production\nEmbed with Cumberland Mining trading and operations stakeholders, and deliver polished, ergonomic, and elegantly engineered software solutions to business problems faced by the trading operation.\nBuild, maintain and extend trading related applications, data pipelines, and solutions.\nWork with both greenfield and legacy systems across multiple languages (Java, Python)\nProvide on-call support as needed.\nRequirements\nExceptional interpersonal skills - you communicate clearly with stakeholders as well as other engineers, fostering a collaborative, supportive working environment.\nStrong track record in working with in enterprise scale software engineering projects, and be capable of delivering and managing dynamic software projects for key stakeholders\nSubstantial prior interaction with the front office and senior management in an active trading environment.\n2+ years of enterprise experience working on systems involving the use of Version Control, Git, Python/Java, Linux\nThe ability to work comfortably in multiple programming languages is a big plus.\n2-3 years of experience strongly preferred in front office, middle office, back office, or risk management roles working with exchange traded and OTC Products.\nSubstantial prior interaction with the front office and senior management in an active trading environment\nBachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or material equivalent exposure\nDemonstrated ability to work
