You will be building and managing processes, governance, tooling, and cross functional relationships to manage hardware, software, cloud entitlements, and other IT assets across the enterprise.\nYou will:\nDesign, implement and continuously improve global ITAM strategy, policies and standards for Hardware & Software Assets\n\nProvide leadership, vision, strategic planning and execution of ITAM processes\n\nManage all aspects of IT asset lifecycle - from purchase to disposal\n\nCollaborate with all IT service providers and product owners to manage and optimize the assets, services and support\n\nLead software license and cloud entitlement management: track usage, optimize entitlements, manage renewals and reduce overspend\n\nEstablish and report ITAM KPIs (inventory accuracy, compliance position, cost savings, asset utilization, refresh cadence, etc) to senior stakeholders.\n\nSupport budgeting and forecasting for hardware and software spend\n\nLead, mentor and grow a distributed ITAM team\n\nManage optimalizations and integrations of ITAM tools\n\nManage relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors\n\nMaintain the accuracy of the Asset Management Database within Service Now\n\nAct as the liaison between internal stakeholders and external auditors\n\nDrive sustainable disposal and e-waste practices in line with Environmental and data sanitation policies\n\nYou have:\n5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management and a strong background in ITAM governance and vendor management\n\nComprehensive understanding of core ITIL Processes\n\nProven experience operating in a multinational environment with distributed teams and complex procurement and licensing models\n\nStrong knowledge of HAM, SAM, ITAM best practices, asset lifecycle management, software licensing (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, VMware), and cloud cost & entitlement management\n\nHands-on experience with ITAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow ITAM/SAM, Flexera) and CMDB/ITSM/ERP integrations\n\nExperience managing vendor relationships, audits and contract/renewal negotiations\n\nUnderstanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks and secure disposal and data sanitization requirements\n\nFluency in English","description_format":"text","description_chars":2610,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"Advanced (C1)","optional":false}]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"Poland","iso":"PL","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Manufacturing","Packaging & Labeling","Packaging Design"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-28T02:34:29Z"}],"liveness":{"score":16,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.566,"p_room":0.28,"age_days":59,"expected_fill_days":22,"reasons":["conf:0","win:tail","crowd:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-09-28T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/ds-smith-itam-manager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/ds-smith-itam-manager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-29T02:16:30Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":1910,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":3090,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-30T00:00:00Z"}}}
