organisation.\nAccountabilities\nLead the deployment and ongoing development of the DS Smith Way Continuous Improvement programme at site level.\nPartner with central Operations Excellence teams to align improvement priorities and share best practices.\nChampion Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies, ensuring they are embedded into daily operations.\nMonitor and report site performance KPIs, driving accountability and ensuring delivery of business objectives.\nLead the site's waste reduction strategy through accurate data collection, analysis, and performance monitoring.\nProvide technical expertise to improve controllable waste performance and reduce raw material consumption, including paper, starch, and water.\nDrive continuous improvements in waste performance through employee engagement, problem-solving methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration.\nDevelop and implement cross-functional improvement projects, bringing together teams to deliver measurable business results.\nSupport the development of robust audit and process confirmation systems, ensuring opportunities for improvement are identified and actions are effectively implemented.\nFoster a culture of engagement, accountability, and operational excellence, empowering teams to identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities.\nBuild capability across the organisation through coaching, mentoring, and the delivery of continuous improvement training programmes.\nRequirements\nStrong manufacturing experience gained within a production environment, preferably in a fast-paced industrial setting.\nGood knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools, Lean methodologies and operational excellence practices.\nExperience with quality systems and root cause analysis.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nDemonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects and managing stakeholders across multiple functions.\nStrong leadership skills with the ability to influence, engage and drive change across the organisation.\nAbility to analyse, interpret and present data effectively to support decision-making.\nDegree-level education with significant industrial experience will also be highly valued.\nFluency in both Slovenian and English.\nSix Sigma Green Belt or equivalent qualification is preferred.\nWhat We Offer\nPermanent
