Our global community consists of more than 300 colleagues located across APAC, LATAM, EMEA, and North America.\nAbout the role\nTMS Global is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Manager - Packaging to join our team in Pune.\nJoin us in a pivotal Supplier Quality and Compliance role where you will lead supplier quality assurance, audit, compliance, and risk management activities across our packaging supply network. Working closely with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders, you will drive continuous improvement, ensure adherence to quality standards, and help deliver exceptional service and product quality to our global clients.\nThis is a remote-based role in Pune, with regular travel to supplier, customer, and manufacturing sites across India, typically three days per week.\nKey responsibilities include:\nLead the qualification, approval, monitoring, and ongoing management of third-party manufacturing and packaging suppliers.\nConduct supplier audits, vendor assessments, and participate in customer accreditation audits to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.\nSupport new product introductions through supplier identification, assessment, and qualification activities.\nManage supplier-related quality events, including change controls, deviations, escalations, recalls, corrective actions, and compliance issues.\nDevelop, maintain, and review supplier quality documentation, including Quality Agreements, qualification statements, performance metrics, and remediation plans.\nMonitor supplier quality performance through KPIs and PPM measures, driving continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actions where required.\nInvestigate and resolve supplier quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformance reports (NCRs), ensuring timely closure and effective root cause analysis.\nCollaborate closely with suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams to strengthen quality, compliance, and operational performance across the supply chain.\nSupport supplier release and approval processes within business systems, including SAP and Lock-IT.\nRecommend and implement process improvements to enhance product quality, compliance, and on-time delivery performance.\nManage customer quality documentation requests and ensure quality assurance systems, specifications, and records remain accurate and up to date.\nAbout you\nThis role will suit a proactive and commercially minded quality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
