About The Role:

The Head of Business Development, KSA leads the identification, pursuit, and closing of new commercial opportunities across the Kingdom. This role owns the KSA new-business pipeline end-to-end - from prospecting and merchant/partner acquisition through to deal structuring and handover - working closely with the GCC Commercial Director to grow Dsquares' merchant network, close market acquisition gaps, and expand the company's footprint with banks, telecom operators, retailers, and government-aligned entities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Own and drive the KSA new-business pipeline, from lead generation through contract close, against defined revenue and growth targets.
• Build and execute a merchant network partnership strategy for KSA, identifying and closing gaps in merchant acquisition and coverage.
• Originate and manage relationships with banks, telecom operators, retailers, and enterprise partners across the Kingdom.
• Structure and negotiate commercial and partnership agreements, including JV, licensing, and merchant onboarding structures where relevant.
• Represent Dsquares in market-facing engagements, RFPs, and strategic pitches, articulating the value of the loyalty/rewards platform and product suite (C-Cubed, DVote, gamification, OCR receipt scanning).
• Build and maintain a robust prospect and account database, using structured outreach and CRM discipline to track pipeline health.
• Align KSA business development activity with Vision 2030 priorities and relevant sector initiatives, positioning Dsquares as a partner of choice for national loyalty and engagement programs.
• Coordinate with product, delivery, and marketing teams to ensure smooth handover of won deals and consistent messaging in market.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of KSA-based BD managers/executives, setting individual and team targets.
• Provide regular pipeline, forecast, and market-intelligence reporting to the GCC Commercial Director and leadership team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive business development, commercial, or partnerships experience, with a track record of new-logo acquisition and revenue growth in KSA.
• Experience in loyalty, rewards, fintech, telecom, retail technology, or related B2B technology/platform businesses preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build and close a merchant or partner network from the ground up.
• Strong deal-structuring and negotiation skills, comfortable leading commercial and, where needed, JV discussions.
• Existing network across KSA banking, telecom, retail, or government-aligned sectors is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with Saudi Vision 2030 frameworks and how they shape sector priorities and partnership opportunities.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent commercial/business qualification preferred.
