With this exciting growth comes opportunity -andwe’relooking for new talent to join us.\nAdministrative Assistant\nImmingham\nMonday -Friday\nDSV are recruiting for a reliable and self-motivated administrative assistant at our offices in Immingham, to meet customer requirements for the safe and efficient transport of their cargo effectively and in accordance with company operational procedures and statutory requirements including Health and Safety to the satisfaction of clients and the profit of the company.\nWhat will you be doing?\nCommunicate effectively in a professional manner with customers to ensure their traffic requirements are fulfilled in line with their booking instructions.\nLiaise with partner offices in the UK and abroad, reporting any discrepancies or specific requirements\nEnsure legislative compliance in all areas\nEnsure that the company operates within all agreed operational procedures and within statutory requirements including the provision and maintenance of a safe working environment\nPrepare correct documentation to the warehouse, haulage, Distribution and Shipping departments for loading/off loading cargo to vehicles in a timely manner\nLiaise with compliance depts, linehaul depts & warehouse and confirm availability of equipment to ensure smooth processes and lead times are met according to production requirements\nAbout You\nPrevious administration experience preferred.\nGood knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).\nStrong organisational and communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities.\nAttention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.\nExperience within a warehouse or logistics environment is desirable but not essential.\nStrong team player with a proactive approach.\nAble to work independently and take ownership of tasks.\nCustomer-focused with a positive attitude.\nWhat can we offer you?\nCompetitive Salary Package and an opportunity to be a part of and grow within a driven and successful company, with a team of 160,000, operating in over 90 countries.
