With this exciting growth comes opportunity - and we’re looking for new talent to join us.\nAnalyst, Contract Logistics (Inventory & Operations)\nBrackmills, Northampton\nMon-Fri 8:00-16:00\nA great new opportunity for an Analyst has arisen in our Brackmills, Northampton site supporting inventory and warehouse operations.\nWhat will you be doing?\nPrepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly KPI reports for Inventory, Operations and Senior Management review.\nPrepare Job Clocking (JC) reports and productivity reporting, highlighting trends, exceptions and areas requiring operational review.\nProduce ABC analysis across clients and recommend pick-face review, storage strategy and stock layout improvements.\nProduce trend analysis, exception reports and data summaries to support stock accuracy, productivity and compliance decisions.\nGather, validate and analyse data from approved sources including WMS, Job Clocking and other agreed reporting tools.\nWrite, maintain and improve approved SQL/data extracts, subject to DSV training, approved access and authorisation.\nSupport system compliance reporting, including putaway, storage, picking, relocation and inventory process checks.\nSupport shrinkage reporting, capacity/utilisation monitoring and client allocation reviews by preparing data packs and summaries.\nDevelop and improve reporting tools using Excel, SQL and approved reporting methods, reducing manual work and improving consistency.\nSupport continuous improvement projects, customer implementations and operational change through analysis and data validation.\nSupport CargoWrite reporting, Key User development activity and EDI/Lightwell checks only once required training and access are completed.\nProvide ad-hoc data support to the Inventory Team Leader, Inventory Supervisor, Stock & Systems Manager and Senior Management.\nAbout You\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivots, lookups, formulas, data validation and report building.\nSQL experience or strong working knowledge, with willingness to complete DSV SQL training and work within approved access controls.\nStrong analytical thinking and ability to interpret operational data into practical conclusions.\nGood attention to detail and ability to validate data before reporting.\nAbility to communicate analysis clearly to operational and senior management audiences.\nGood understanding of warehouse, inventory or contract logistics processes, or the ability to learn them quickly.\nAble to prioritise multiple reporting deadlines and ad-hoc requests\nContinuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify inefficient manual processes and propose better reporting solutions.\nDesirable Experience / Knowledge\nExperience in contract logistics, warehousing, supply chain, inventory or operational reporting\nExperience using WMS systems such as CargoWrite or RedPrairie.\nExperience with Job Clocking, labour productivity reporting, Power Query, Power BI, VBA or report automation is desirable\nCompTIA Data+ Certificate or equivalent.\nWhat can we offer you?\nCompetitive Salary Package and an opportunity to be a part of and grow within a driven and successful company, with a team of 160,000, operating in over 90 countries.\nIn addition, we can offer access to a selection of employee benefits, such as:\nEnhanced Annual Leave Entitlement from your start, which increases with length of service.\nSalary Sacrifice Car Scheme for Ultra-Low Emissions Cars\nSalary Sacrifice Cycle Scheme\nWeCare App, for support with physical and mental wellbeing, including access to GPs for you and your dependents.\nLifeWorks app for access to cashback and discounts on high street and online brands.\nLife Insurance and which includes access to expert probate support.\nNext Steps\nIf this sounds like the next step for you, please follow the links and apply with your CV without delay!\nPlease be aware that all successful candidates will undergo necessary right-to-work checks and certain sites require 5-years’ worth of referencing and criminal record checks.\nWe do not accept CV details from Recruitment Agencies unless DSV have engaged directly regarding the role requirements beforehand.\nDSV - Global transport and logistics\nWorking at DSV means playing in a different league.\nAs a global leader in transport and logistics, we have been on an extraordinary journey of growth.
