Join us and be a part of DSV’s global family.\nWe’re looking for an experienced Branch Manager to drive profitable growth, operational discipline, customer confidence and a high-performing team while ensuring full business, regulatory, safety and environmental compliance located in Perth.\nKey Position Expectations\nCustomer Growth and Relationships\nOwn the branch customer experience and act as the senior escalation point for service issues.\nBuild strong relationships with customers, suppliers, overseas offices and agent partners.\nWork with Commercial to protect existing revenue, develop new opportunities and exceed growth targets.\nEnsure major accounts have clear account management and customer service ownership.\nMaintain a credible, current sales pipeline in Dynamics and convert opportunities into profitable business.\nOperational Leadership\nLead day-to-day branch operations and hold department managers accountable for service, productivity and results.\nEnsure import, export, customs, transport and warehouse activities are timely, compliant and cost-effective.\nSet, monitor and improve local and global operational performance measures.\nProvide the tools, equipment, capacity and skills required for safe, efficient and quality-focused delivery.\nResolve non-conformance quickly and drive practical continuous improvement.\nFinancial Performance\nOwn the branch profit and loss result and exceed monthly budget targets.\nControl operating costs, resources and revenue allocation with strong financial discipline.\nReview and act on revenue, gross profit, work in progress, accrued cost, pipeline, debtor and key performance reports.\nEnsure strong debtor governance and decisive action on overdue or problem accounts.\nTranslate financial results into clear actions for department managers and senior leadership.\nPeople Leadership\nLead, coach and empower direct reports while setting the standard for the entire branch.\nBuild a culture of accountability, collaboration, high performance and respectful challenge.\nManage workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance, development, retention and succession with Human Resources support.\nAddress conduct, capability and morale issues early, fairly and consistently.\nCompliance, Systems and Governance\nEnsure full compliance with the DSV Operational Blueprint, standard operating procedures, policies and delegated authorities.\nMaintain current knowledge of customs, freight forwarding, licensing, certification and other regulatory requirements.\nDrive disciplined use and accurate data in CargoWise One, Dynamics and other company systems.\nEnsure customer, operational and financial records are complete, current and audit-ready.\nAct promptly on audit findings, control gaps and operational risks.\nKey Criteria\nProven leadership experience in international freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain operations, with at least five years of relevant experience.\nStrong Western Australian freight market knowledge and established customer and supplier networks.\nCommercial capability across business development, customer management, budgets and profit delivery.\nDemonstrated success leading people, improving performance and managing change.\nStrong knowledge of international trade, customs, compliance and operational controls.\nConfident use of logistics, customer and business systems; CargoWise One experience is highly regarded.\nClear communication, sound judgement, resilience and the ability to build trust across diverse stakeholders.\nWhy DSV?\nWorking at DSV means playing in a different league.
