They will work closely with the finance team and senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that drive growth and profitability.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nOversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting\n\nManage the month-end and year-end financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements\n\nConduct financial analysis to support decision-making by senior management\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements\n\nMonitor and manage cash flow, including forecasting and analysis of working capital\n\nEnsure compliance with accounting standards and regulations\n\nDevelop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including auditors and financial institutions\n\nProvide leadership and direction to the finance team, including mentoring and professional development\n\nEducational background / Work experience\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required\n\nMaster's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred\n\nCPA or CMA certification preferred\n\nAt least 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis\n\nExperience in the transportation and logistics industry preferred\n\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and IFRS\n\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills\n\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy\n\nEffective communication and collaboration skills\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software systems\n\nFunction / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Processes\nSupervisory Responsibilities (if any)\nManage and mentor a team of financial analysts and accountants\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in a publicly traded company\n\nExperience with mergers and acquisitions\n\nStrong leadership skills\n\nLanguage skills\nFluent in English, both written and spoken\n\nComputer Literacy\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint\n\nExperience with financial software systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Hyperion preferred\n\nFor this position, the expected base pay range is $100,000-$120,000 annually.
