It is expected that a BDM is able to work independently, shows initiative and the ability to drive people.\nReporting Line:\nReports to: Director, Country Sales, Air & Sea\nLocation: Dubai, UAE\nDetailed Responsibilities:\nBuild and maintain a pipeline in Microsoft Dynamics in accordance with company guidelines.\nTarget and qualify a list of potential clients in main focus trade lanes identified by DSV.\nGain new business and target new trade lanes within client selection.\nProvide client and target information, maintain CRM with 100% accuracy on every sales call and visits.\nPlan and achieve a minimum number of sales calls per week.\nEnsure detailed SOP’s are in place for the client.\nWeekly presentation of pipeline and activities using Microsoft Dynamics (dashboard) to management.\nList account information, contact details, meeting schedules, opportunities and service lines as well as visiting reports in accordance with company guidelines.\nSupport regional sales campaigns.\nGenerate sales leads to overseas DSV offices and networks.\nEstablish strong relationships to customers as well as colleagues.\nMonthly review of performance with individual sales and action plan setting where needed.\nResponsible for assisting in collecting of payment from customers in accordance with company guidelines.\nBe able to acknowledge and understand company capabilities and identify improvement areas where needed.\nEnsure proper stakeholder management including relevant involvement of product specialists, Inside Sales, RDMs or/and management.\nAchieve KPI’s set by management.\nDSV Supply Code of Conduct is adhered to.\nOther tasks assigned by management.\nQualifications & Characteristics:\nSales experience of 3-5 years in a multi-national freight forwarding company.\nIndustry knowledge and is aware of the market.\nSelf-managed, result-driven & outgoing personality.\nBusiness-minded.\nResults-orientated.\nEnergetic & proactive\nGood communication and organization skills.\nAbility to communicate industry related information to people outside our industry.\nDiplomatic, influencing & trustworthy.\nAbility to define requirements, analyse facts, and determine relevant solutions/actions to be taken.\nExtrovert personality with strong relationship building capabilities.\nDSV - Global Transport and Logistics\nWorking at DSV means playing in a different league.\nAs a global leader in transport and logistics, we have been on an extraordinary journey of growth.
