The Compliance Manager works closely with the Customs Managers at the local level to ensure adherence to Customs regulatory requirements and internal policies within the DSV Customs Brokerage Department. The Compliance Manager conducts effective research, management, tracking, and reporting on Customs transactions to ensure a complete audit trail.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nManage the DSV Customs Compliance initiative. \nManage the DSV Customs Brokerage Operations at a national level.\nDevelop and implement a comprehensive compliance program aligned with Customs regulations and DSV A/S, Inc. policies.\nMonitor and assess compliance risks and identify areas for improvement.\nConduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.\nProvide guidance and training to employees on Customs compliance matters.\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement compliance strategies.\nInvestigate and address compliance-related incidents, violations, and complaints.\nMonitor regulatory & legislative changes within the industry to ensure the compliance program is up to date and DSV Customs brokerage Operations is performing to the current standards.\nDevelop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry associations.\nPrepare and submit required reports to regulatory bodies.\nLead and support internal investigations and audits related to compliance.\nDevelop and maintain effective compliance-related documentation and record-keeping.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree with preference in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business, or equivalent. \nUSCustoms Broker License\nExperience with audit processes and procedures.\nWorking knowledge of USHTS, 19 CFR, and ACE portal.\nExperience in developing and implementing Customs compliance programs and policies.\nMinimum 5-7 years’ experience in Customs compliance management.\nThe ability to learn and utilize software information systems.\nPreferred Qualifications\nFamiliarity with compliance management software and tools.\nKnowledge of industry-specific certifications, such as C-TPAT, AEO, or ISO.\nSkills & Competencies.\nStrong knowledge of Customs compliance frameworks and best practices.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. \nProficiency in data analysis and reporting.\nFamiliarity with risk assessment and mitigation techniques.\nStrong leadership and project management skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to collaborate and influence at all levels of the organization.\nExceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.\nExperience with ACE Secure Data Portal\nLanguage skills\nExperience with ACE Secure Data Portal\nFluent in English (oral and written)\nComputer Literacy\nProficient in using compliance management software and tools.\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.\nFamiliarity with data analysis and reporting tools.\nAbility to adapt to new technology platforms used in compliance management.\nAt Will Employment\nDSV Air & Sea Inc. employees are hired for an undefined period of time as “at will” employees.
