Credit assessments are performed for standard accounts, while for VIP accounts, the focus is on credit limit management and collection activities, as credit evaluations are already conducted by Group Credit in line with company policy. This role involves ensuring compliance with credit policies and proactively resolving issues on overdue accounts. The specialist serves as a strategic partner in mitigating credit risks while supporting global account management efforts.\nResponsibilities:\nConduct thorough analysis of financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements) to assess customer creditworthiness for non-VIP accounts.\nRecognize and escalate potential problematic situations to the Manager.\nPerform manual credit assessments or review and adjust system-generated credit proposals as needed (excluding VIP accounts).\nSet and approve credit limits in the system and handle payment term applications.\nPropose write-offs and bad debt provisions when necessary.\nSupport negotiations on specific payment term requests and review financial clauses or invoicing requirements.\nMonitor shipments in ERP systems against credit limit blocks.\nManage a selected portfolio of high-value global VIP accounts.\nFocus on the distribution and monitoring of credit limits, overdue account resolution, and collection\nprocesses for VIP accounts.\nInvestigate overdue accounts, identifying root causes and proposing permanent solutions.\nCoordinate resolution of issues at a global level, involving relevant internal and external stakeholders.\nManage the collection process, including monitoring global/regional overdue balances, ensuring invoice accuracy, and handling escalations.\nPrepare and analyze weekly collection reports and propose improvement actions.\nWork closely with Global Account Directors, Account Managers, Group Credit, and operational teams to ensure effective credit and collection processes.\nCreate and present summarized reports and graphical presentations of findings to relevant stakeholders.\nEnsure compliance with internal control procedures and external regulatory requirements.\nPropose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and mitigate credit risks.\n Evaluate market conditions and foresee potential changes affecting credit limits or customer risk profiles.\nQualifications:\n3+ years of experience in Credit Management or VIP Account Management, preferably in an international environment.\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration.\nAccounting, or similar field.\nExcellent command of English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess credit risks.\nProficiency in SAP (FSCM/FIORI modules), MS Office Suite, and experience with Dun & Bradstreet methodologies.\nAbility to prepare and present findings in a clear and graphical format.\nSolution-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, result-driven environment.\nStrong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with crossfunctional and external stakeholders.\nFamiliarity with automation and digital tools (e.g., PowerBI, RPA platforms) is an advantage.\nDSV - Global transport and logistics\nWorking at DSV means playing in a different league.\nAs a global leader in transport and logistics, we have been on an extraordinary journey of growth.
