Coordinates with the client, internal DSV teams and external partners to meet and exceed customer expectations while achieving DSV Transportation Management’s internal goals\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nResponsible for handling inquiries and providing information; primary point of contact with the customer\nProvides expediting, tracing and POD support as required\nResolves issues raised by the customer quickly and efficiently\nPrepares and distributes weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on freight\nManages premium freight data base\nCaptures, enters and reports data accurately; ensures the attainment of key performance indicators\nProvides ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested\nBecomes proficient in all DSV Transportation supported operations at the facility\nIdentifies and implements cost and process improvements\nDocuments cost avoidance and savings attained\nWorks on special projects and assignments as needed\nOTHER DUTIES\nSupports Implementation, Account Management and Customer during account set-up.\nPrepares and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as assigned.\nPerforms other duties as required.\nAbility to listen and comprehend instructions.\nAbility to work independently while recognizing the need to be part of a team.\nStrong aptitude for organization with high volume of paperwork.\nBring a can do attitude to work every day.\nWillingly assist coworkers with projects.\nGreat Work Ethic (puts company’s needs ahead of personal ambition).\nMINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nEducation and/or Experience\nHigh School diploma.\n2 years’ experience in a logistics, customer service or related field\nSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES\nComputer Skills\nProficient typing and PC skills required\nProficient with all Microsoft Office computer applications\nLanguage Skills\nEnglish (reading, writing, verbal)\nMathematical Skills\nIntermediate\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nEducation and/or Experience\nCollege degree.\n3 years’ experience in a logistics, customer service or related field\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear.
