Communicate regularly with engineers, buyers, commodity managers, MRP controllers, warehouse shipping/receiving staff, and suppliers. Ensure adequate supply of material to service customer needs while minimizing inventory investment. Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nAnalyzes Replenishment Data \nGenerates reports in ERP system and exports to Excel, reviews and analyzes data and responds accordingly\nInitiates, reviews and processes Purchase Demand/Requisitions \nManages inventory levels and planning, matching forecast demand with on hand, on order, or in transit quantities\nEffectively communicates with clients both verbally and in writing\nActs as the primary customer contact regarding forecast, new part adds, Min/Max levels, reorder points, backorders, obsolescence, etc. \nCommunicates with engineers, tool owners, buyers, and commodity managers to review forecast, consumption history, material changes, new part adds, etc. \nCollaborates with warehouse, shipping/receiving staff to process material returns/repairs, which may include packing, preparing material for shipment and communication with supplier\nInforms the appropriate individuals (buyers, site leads, managers) of any issues related to material shortages that may cause an out of stock or machine down situation \nCoordinates and performs cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure the accuracy of inventory assets \nResearches inventory inaccuracies and reconciles accordingly\nMaintains accurate and timely data in the ERP system including master records, BOM's, etc. \nManages material quality issues, providing strategic analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives \nIdentifies & develops material savings projects to generate cost savings and efficiency improvements \nPerforms other job-related duties as required.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES (IF ANY)\nN/A\nMINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS \nEducation and/or Experience\nBachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 2 years of professional experience; or equivalent combination of education and work experience. \nThree (3) years of industry experience in a direct or cross-functional capacity.\nSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES\nComputer Skills\nIntermediate level in Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookup formulas, etc.)\nERP system experience\nLanguage Skills\nEnglish (reading, writing, verbal)\nMathematical Skills\nIntermediate mathematical problem solving\nOther Skills\nKnowledge of Purchasing, Inventory Control and Materials Management methods, principles and practices\nAbility to work as a team member and foster a cooperative work environment while also being an individual contributor\nEffective professional written and verbal communication skills \nExcellent problem-solving skills \nStrong analytical skills with a focus on critical thinking and business process management \nSelf-motivated, energetic and able to perform with little supervision \nExceptional customer service and interpersonal skills (external & internal customers) \nAbility to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and projects \nAccuracy and attention to detail\nAbility to work in a dynamic team environment\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS \nEducation and/or Experience\n2 years Planning Experience in a Manufacturing setting \nExperience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear.
