This role supports daily FTZ activities, maintains accurate documentation, and serves as a liaison between internal teams, clients, and regulatory agencies.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCustoms Compliance\nMaintain compliance with CBP regulations and FTZ procedures.\nPrepare and submit customs forms (e.g., Entry Forms, CBP 214, 3461, 7501, invoices).\nPrepare and submit weekly, monthly, and annual FTZ reports to CBP.\nSupport internal and external audits related to FTZ operations.\nFTZ Operations:\nCoordinate FTZ activities including admissions, withdrawals, and inventory movements.\nEnsure accurate and timely filing of CBP Form 214 and other required documentation.\nOperate and maintain the FTZ Inventory Control and Recordkeeping System (ICRS).\nMonitor FTZ inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies.\nCoordination & Communication:\nWork closely with importers, logistics providers, and internal departments.\nCollaborate with warehouse staff to address inventory discrepancies.\nServe as a point of contact for clients regarding FTZ and customs-related inquiries.\nProvide guidance on FTZ procedures and compliance requirements.\nServe as a liaison with CBP and other regulatory agencies as needed.\nMonitoring & Recordkeeping:\nTrack customs entries and FTZ admissions to ensure timely processing.\nMaintain documentation including CBP Form 214, entry summaries, and FTZ inventory records.\nEnsure all records are retained in accordance with CBP and company policy.\nQualifications:\nEducational Background\nAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)\n\nProfessional Experience\n2+ years of experience in Customs brokerage, FTZ operations, Trade Compliance\n\nCertifications (Preferred but Not Required)\nLicensed Customs Broker (LCB)\nCertified Customs Specialist (CCS)\n\nCore Competencies:\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy\nExcellent organizational and time management skills\nEffective communication with internal teams and external partners\nAbility to analyze data and resolve discrepancies\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment\nLanguage skills:\nFluent in English (written and verbal)\nComputer &Technical Proficiency:\nProficient in:\nACE and ABI systems\n FTZ ICRS (Inventory Control and Recordkeeping System)\nMicrosoft Excel and other reporting tools\nTechnical Skills\nProficient in:\n ACE (Automated Commercial Environment)\n ABI (Automated Broker Interface)\n FTZ ICRS (Inventory Control and Recordkeeping System)\n Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas), Word, Outlook\nAt-Will Employment\nDSV Air & Sea Inc. employees are hired for an undefined period of time as “at will” employees.
