Must follow all applicable laws and company policy.\n\nResponsible for accounting for records involving trailer numbers and position of vehicles.\n\nMust function and interact on a daily basis with warehouse supervisors and comply with warehouse safety requirements.\n\nMust communicate using cellular telephone or 2-way radio with operations, and warehouse personnel in a courteous and professional manner.\n\nMust maneuver trucks into loading and unloading position, following signal from loading crew as needed. Also place safety wheel chocks in front of wheel/tire to prevent the trailer from rolling. If pup trailer movement is involved; extra care must be taken on the placement of the trailer jack stand (when at dock, jack stand must be on the ground and in a locked position). If there is not a jack stand installed on the trailer the customer must be notified.\n\nProper use of Airline/Electrical hookup/and Backing procedure is a must.\n\nFollow all company policies, guidelines, and quality procedures.\n\nPerform other job-related duties as assigned.\n\nOn a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the equipment.\n\nAssist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and yard\n\nOTHER DUTIES\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nWork overtime as dictated by business whether mandatory or voluntary.\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nNone\n\nMINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nEducation and/or Experience\nMust have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).\n\nMust have a Class A CDL w/Hazmat endorsement\n\nMinimum 2 years of verified tractor-trailer experience within the past 4 years \n Must have a clean driving record. \nMust meet DOT physical requirements and maintain valid medical certificate\n\nMust pass road and backing test during onboarding\n\nCertificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations\nSatisfactory completion of Class A CDL: Combination of vehicles with a GVWR of 26,001 lbs. or more provided the GVWR of the vehicle(s) towed is in excess of 10,000 lbs.\n\nOther\nMust be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate.\n\nSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES\nComputer Skills\nBasic computer skills\n\nLanguage Skills\nEnglish (reading, writing, verbal)\n\nMathematical Skills\nBasic math\n\nOther\nMust be able to work as assigned outside and in a warehouse environment.\n\nAbility to read and follow manufacturer's instruction manuals.\n\nAbility to accomplish tasks in a timely manner.\n\nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently or within a group.\n\nAbility to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.\n\nMust be able to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nNone\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nOccasionally\nBending\n\nFrequently\nWalking and Standing\n\nConstantly\nSitting\n\nAbility to Lift/Carry and Push/Pull\n11-20 pounds\n\nReach above shoulder, squat, or kneel.\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
