This position is responsible for ensuring accurate month-end close activities, maintaining balance sheet integrity, and providing timely and reliable financial information to management. The role will also support internal controls, account reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and financial accuracy across DSV’s operations.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nCoordinate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and deadlines.\nPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statements.\nMaintain and monitor the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring that all entries are properly supported and coded.\nGuide team members as needed to ensure work aligns with accounting standards and controls.\nReview and analyze balance sheet accounts, investigating variances and providing explanations to management.\nEnsure adherence to internal control policies, supporting audits and implementing corrective actions.\nCollaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure accurate cost allocation, capitalization, and expense recognition.\nAssist with the preparation of presentations and reports for management and external stakeholders.\nParticipate in process improvement projects to streamline accounting workflows and strengthen internal controls.\nEducational background / Work experience\nBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.\nMaster's degree in accounting or a related field preferred.\n2-5 years of experience in accounting, financial controlling, or audit.\nExperience with month-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.\nExperience with ERP systems (SAP) and financial reporting tools.\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to synthesize complex data and information into clear and concise reports and presentations.\nEffective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.\nAbility to identify and implement process improvements in accounting and reporting workflows.\nStrong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.\nComputer Literacy\nExcellent in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling and analysis tools.\nFamiliarity with ERP systems (SAP) and financial reporting tools.\nFor this position, the expected base pay range is $68,000.00 - $90,000.00 .
