With this exciting growth comes opportunity - and we’re looking for new talent to join us.\nInventory Operator x 2\nBrackmills, Northampton\nMon-Fri 14:00-22:00\nWe are looking for Inventory Operators to join our Brackmills, Northampton site. You will support stock accuracy by completing physical and system-based inventory checks, PI counts, recounts, stock investigations and warehouse inventory queries. The role is primarily execution-focused and works to priorities set by the Inventory Team Leader and Inventory Supervisor.\nWhat will you be doing?\nActively work on the warehouse floor to maintain a good understanding of processes and stock movement.\nCarry out PI counts, recounts, stock record checks and other scheduled inventory checks as instructed.\nEnsure locked inventory is checked and managed in line with site process, including regular checks at least every two hours or as required.\nInvestigate and clear auto-generated stock checks, escalating unresolved issues to the Inventory Team Leader.\nInvestigate warehouse queries, stock discrepancies, nil picks, short picks, unidentified inventory and stock not found issues.\nComplete physical checks including adjacent location checks, empty location checks, batch/serial/expiry checks and system checks.\nGather clear evidence to support stock adjustments, client claims, recounts and discrepancy investigations before action is taken.\nComplete spot checks on picking and goods-in activities where required and trained.\nInvestigate reasons for unidentified inventory and support return-to-stock activity where instructed.\nEnsure stock is checked against the correct SKU, batch, serial, expiry, condition code, UOM and location where applicable.\nEnsure stock is held in appropriate zones and raise any storage or location concerns to the Inventory Team Leader.\nProvide assistance with QC checks, VAS work or operational support where requested and trained\nRaise repeated issues or improvement ideas to the Inventory Team Leader, but do not own reporting, process design or client escalation unless authorised.\nAbout You\nGood attention to detail and accuracy when counting, checking and recording stock.\nAble to follow instructions, processes and investigation standards consistently.\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nAble to work on the warehouse floor and understand operational processes.\nBasic Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Outlook.\nExperience using WMS systems such as CargoWrite or RedPrairie, or willingness to learn.\nProfessional approach to stock accuracy, safety, housekeeping and customer requirements\nPrevious stock control, warehouse, inventory or investigatory experience is beneficial\nCargoWrite / RedPrairie experience or WMS Basic training is advantageous\nExperience completing PI counts, stock checks or warehouse discrepancy investigations-desirable\nMHE experience or licences such as RT, HLOP, MEWP or VNA are desirable but not essential.\nWhat can we offer you?\nCompetitive Salary Package and an opportunity to be a part of and grow within a driven and successful company, with a team of 160,000, operating in over 90 countries.\nIn addition, we can offer access to a selection of employee benefits, such as:\nEnhanced Annual Leave Entitlement from your start, which increases with length of service.\nSalary Sacrifice Car Scheme for Ultra-Low Emissions Cars\nSalary Sacrifice Cycle Scheme\nWeCare App, for support with physical and mental wellbeing, including access to GPs for you and your dependents.\nLifeWorks app for access to cashback and discounts on high street and online brands.\nLife Insurance and which includes access to expert probate support.\nNext Steps\nIf this sounds like the next step for you, please follow the links and apply with your CV without delay!\nPlease be aware that all successful candidates will undergo necessary right-to-work checks and certain sites require 5-years’ worth of referencing and criminal record checks.\nWe do not accept CV details from Recruitment Agencies unless DSV have engaged directly regarding the role requirements beforehand.\nDSV - Global transport and logistics\nWorking at DSV means playing in a different league.\nAs a global leader in transport and logistics, we have been on an extraordinary journey of growth.
