Please reach out to Human Resources should you require accommodation during the recruitment process.\nLocation: CAN - Richmond, 122-5000 Miller Road\nJob Posting Title: Logistics Coordinator\nTime Type: Full Time\nCompensation: Salary starting at $47,000, plus eligible benefits, in accordance with experience and internal equity\n This posting is for an existing vacancy and not intended to create a talent pipeline\nThe primary function of the Logistic Coordinator Warehouse Operations to prepare outbound orders for the warehouse to pick and ship, update the warehouse system with all goods received and ensure invoicing of monthly recurring storage, in and out charges and any additional accessorial charges.\nKEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nAnswer, screen and resolve all client issues and manage all incoming queries\nTrack and verify truck locations prior to delivery\nCommunicate with customers, dispatchers and drivers regarding delays, issues, and updates,\nManage all customer orders in the warehouse system\nVerify product information including case counts, temperature readings and pallet counts on active loads\nAccounting support including filing, scanning, and photocopying\nSafety support including daily electronic log audits.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation and Experience\nA minimum of 2 years’ experience in a warehousing environment or,\nMinimum high school education required\nDangerous Goods Certification, an asset\nSkills and Competencies\nGood command, both verbal and written, English skills.\nAbility to create collaborative engagements and active listening\nStrong interpersonal skills, building professional relationships internally and externally\nGood problem-solving skills and analytical skills\nAbility to multi-task, plan, prioritize and manage time effectively to meet goals and achieve results\nBoth a team builder and a team-player\nExcellent organizational and time management skills\nAct as a role model for DSV values and adhere to the Code of Conduct.\nLanguage and Computer Skills\nEnglish is the principal language for this position, additional languages may be required in other locations.\nAbility to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.\nMS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Warehouse Management Software (WMS)\nPhysical Demands\nRegular working hours apply for this position, at times, working beyond these hours may be required by business needs.\nSafety shoes and safety vest to be used during work hours\nAbility to lift, push & carry 25 - 50 lbs\nAdditional Notes / Acknowledgment\nDue to the dynamic nature of our industry, your accountabilities and role may change.
