You will work closely with various departments within the company to ensure that shipments are delivered on time, within budget, and according to customer specifications. You will also be responsible for tracking shipments, managing inventory levels, and resolving any issues that may arise during the shipping process.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nCoordinate and manage the movement of goods from suppliers to customers\n\nCommunicate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure shipments are delivered on time and according to customer specifications\n\nPrepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs documentation\n\nTrack shipments and manage inventory levels\n\nResolve any issues that arise during the shipping process, including delays, damages, and lost shipments\n\nMaintain accurate records of all shipping transactions\n\nMonitor transportation costs and work to minimize expenses\n\nStay up-to-date with industry trends and developments\n\nEducational background / Work experience\nA bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred but not required.\n\nAt least 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.\n\nExperience working in a transportation or logistics company is a plus.\n\nSkills & Competencies\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\n\nStrong organizational and time management skills\n\nAttention to detail and accuracy\n\nAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines\n\nKnowledge of transportation regulations and customs requirements\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel\n\nExperience using transportation management software is a plus\n\nLanguage skills\nFluency in English is required.\n\nFluency in additional languages is a plus.\n\nComputer Literacy\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required.\n\nExperience using transportation management software is a plus.\n\nAt Will Employment\nDSV Air & Sea Inc. employees are hired for an undefined period of time as “at will” employees.
