The Manager will monitor inventory levels, product movement, control/isolates non-conforming product mix which facilitates efficient order fulfillment. This position will also be responsible for quality activities to support the warehouse including, but not limited to receiving, shipping, and other related functions. This includes tracking, investigating and correcting OS&D (over, short and damage). The Manager will oversee the functions performed by inventory and quality associates and other such staff.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nInput data accurately into WMS.\nEfficiently stack and store product in appropriate area.\nMaintains and enhances client relationship.\nDevelops and implement space utilization plan to meet prescribed cost and service standards.\nDevelops and monitors the space layout plan to ensure it continues to meet company standards.\nDevelops and implements an effective product locator system and update as necessary.\nDelegate work and responsibility to team members.\nOversee scheduled shifts, evaluate work of team members.\nAnalyzes daily cycle counts and reconciles any discrepancies between physical count and perpetual record.\nAudit the daily error report and make corrections as necessary.\nAnalyze daily and publish monthly data from WMS reports indicating monthly and year-to-date totals of cycle count dollar variances.\nAnalyze stock change in/outs transactions on material for validity to the product structure.\nAnalyze miscellaneous receipts and issues and take corrective action as appropriate.\nLeader for physical inventory.\nGain complete knowledge of the on-line inventory audit trail to facilitate any research toward corrective action.\nDrives process improvements and prepares monthly report signifying major problems and updates on projects and assignments.\nAssist with associate relations and training.\nAudit warehouse daily for compliance with safety, security, and quality principles and rules.\nMaintain a clean, neat and orderly work area and promote safety among team members.\nTransmit e-mails to DSV representatives and clients (when required), write corrective/preventative actions, complete reports for operations manager, follow-up with attendance reports, write counseling memos and write/perform evaluations. All communication must be accurate and professional.\nDevelop and maintain site QMS documentation such as procedures, work instructions, visuals.\nMake recommendations with regards to procedures, standards to maintain process quality.\nSupport all client related and applicable QMS requirements.\nCoordinate all requirements related to the 5 Star Site Certification Program.\nResponsible for managing requirements related to Quality & Training.\nEnsure site is compliant with applicable GMP standards and FDA regulations.\nEstablish & Maintain “quality standards” for all critical functions supporting the operation.\nTrain site management and employees on the QMS components and requirements.\nServe as the primary contact for any external or internal audits, with development of any resulting action plans.\nAssist with coordination of recalls, hold notifications, stop-shipments, etc., in consultation with customer management.\nCompile and submit assigned daily, weekly, and monthly reports to site and clients as needed.\nSponsor the site Training Program including coordinating training documentation.\nPerform all other duties as assigned to achieve site and client satisfaction.\nSKILLS & ABILITIES\nEducation & Experience:\nMust have a high school diploma or GED.
