The successful candidate will ensure that all services are procured at the best possible cost, quality, and delivery time, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nIdentify and evaluate potential transportation and logistics service providers\nNegotiate rates, terms, and conditions with suppliers\nManage contracts and ensure compliance with contractual agreements\nMonitor supplier performance and take corrective action as necessary\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and develop procurement strategies\nManage procurement data and maintain accurate records\nProvide reports and analysis to management as needed\nEducational background / Work experience\nBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field\nAt least 5 years of experience in transportation and logistics procurement, preferably in a global organization\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong negotiation skills\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nKnowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends\nProficient in Microsoft Office suite\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field\nProfessional certification in procurement (e.g. CIPS, CPSM)\nLanguage skills\nFluent in English (oral and written)\nComputer Literacy\nProficient in procurement software and tools\nKnowledge of ERP systems and data analytics tools is a plus.\n\nAt Will Employment\nDSV Air & Sea Inc. employees are hired for an undefined period of time as “at will” employees.
