The incumbent in this role is expected to manage the scope, and quality of project making sure the solution is delivered by the required date.\nKEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nEffectively executing complex integrations or major projects in EDI according to its schedule and budget.\nAnalyze DSV customers’ requirements and prepare technical specifications.\nAnalyze and estimate the work effort to implement new solutions.\nCreation or modification of complex interfaces based on existing standard solutions, ensuring high quality using test scenarios.\nCreating detailed specifications and documentation based on existing operational procedures.\nMaintain timely, efficient and proactive stakeholder communication regarding the daily tasks and projects.\nSupport business and the organization to identify any possible cooperation with the EDI department.\nHelp and support other team members to achieve their potential within the department.\nCompliance with internal regulations, procedures, law and managers orders, including labor regulations, regulations on remuneration and other internal regulations in the company, including company’s intellectual property protection.\nBehaviors and attitudes consistent with the values of the organization.\nProfessional skills development by participation in training and constant self-education.\nQuality, Health & Safety:\nSupports organizational commitment to ISO 9001\nPerform assigned tasks to support DSV meets its objectives and targets regarding quality, health, safety and environment and follow all requirements as set out in the DSV Quality Health Safety Environment policy.\nStaff are required to ensure that their day-to-day activities embrace sustainability, Health and safety therefore reducing the impact upon the environment, supporting the communities we work in and reducing incidents in the workplace.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation and Experience\nComputer Science or related technical qualification, preferred\nMinimum of 3 years’ experience in EDI integration\nVast knowledge of EDI Standards (EDIFACT or ANSI X12).\nVast knowledge of XML.\nVast Experience implementing IT projects with Agile methods.\nKnowledge of communication protocols such as FTP, SFTP, AS2 or HTTP.\nSkills and Competencies\nGeneral Operations Skills/Competencies:\nGood command, both verbal and written, English skills.\nAbility to create collaborative engagements and active listening\nStrong analytical thinking and effective problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration.\nAbility to multi-task, plan, prioritize and manage time effectively in order to meet goals and achieve results\nBoth a team builder and a team-player, adaptability in diverse environments.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills\nAct as a role model for DSV values and adhere to the Code of Conduct\nLanguage and Computer Skills\nEnglish is the principal language for this position, additional languages may be required in other locations.\nExtensive expertise in EDI standards, particularly UN/EDIFACT and ANSI-X12, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex EDI landscapes.\nIn-depth knowledge of communication protocols critical to EDI processes, including API, FTP, SFTP, and AS2, with proven hands-on implementation experience.\nAdvanced proficiency in XML, XPATH, with the ability to manage and troubleshoot complex data flows.\nComprehensive understanding of EDI transactions within Transport.\nPhysical Demands\nProlonged periods sitting and standing at a desk and working on a computer\nOccasional travel may be required\nRegular working hours apply for this position, at times, working beyond these hours may be required by business needs.\nDSV - Global transport and logistics\nWhat moves you?\nAt DSV, we move more than goods.
