JOB SUMMARY\nSenior Logistics Engineer is responsible for collecting, analysing, and translating warehouse operational data into meaningful insights to improve productivity, inventory accuracy, service levels, cost efficiency, and overall operational performance.\nThe role will work closely with Operations, Inventory Control, Customer Service, IT and Performance Management to establish reliable data, develop performance dashboards, identify operational gaps, and drive data-based improvement initiatives.\nB. RESPONSIBILITIES\nCollect, consolidate, validate, and analyse warehouse operational data from WMS, Power BI, Excel, and other relevant systems.\nAnalyse key warehouse KPIs including: productivity, inventory accuracy, inbound & outbound performance, space utilization, labor utilization\nIdentify trends, abnormalities, and performance gaps and highlight them to the Operations team.\nCreate dashboards for management visibility, including: operation performance, manpower utilization, operating expenses performance, warehouse capacity and utilization\nWork with Operations and Inventory teams to identify root causes of operational issues through data analysis\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives by providing data-driven analysis and measurement of improvement results.\nSupport warehouse simulation and scenario analysis for new business, volume changes, and operational restructuring\nPrepare operational analysis and presentation materials for customer meetings and management reviews.\nProvide ad-hoc analysis to support customer requests, commercial costing, contract renewals, and operational decisions.\nC. AUTHORITIES\nN/A\nD. QUALIFICATIONS\nMinimum Diploma/Degree Holder supply chain management, logistics or business administration.\nMinimum five (5) years of experience in logistics or supply chain management in supervision or management of logistics or related fields.\nStrong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.\nGood trouble shooting skills to establish root causes and provide effective solutions.\nA self-starter demonstrates a track record of high-performance work without immediate management supervision.\nHave proven experience in running effective teams and ability to work with core team members and cross-functional teams in a matrix managed environment.\nDSV - Global transport and logistics\nWhat moves you?\nAt DSV, we move more than goods.
