The role leads product strategy, carrier partnerships, procurement, pricing, and innovation while collaborating with regional and global stakeholders to deliver competitive, standardized, and profitable airfreight solutions.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nProduct Strategy & Commercial Management\nDevelop and execute Airfreight product strategies aligned with regional and global objectives.\nManage the product lifecycle from concept through launch, enhancement, and retirement.\nIdentify market opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends to develop competitive products.\nMonitor product performance, customer feedback, and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.\nDevelop product documentation, pricing guidance, and value propositions.\nSupport strategic customer engagements and commercial growth initiatives.\nMarket Intelligence, Pricing & Procurement\nMonitor market trends, competitive activity, and regulatory developments to support product and commercial strategies.\nBuild and manage strategic airline partnerships while evaluating carrier performance, pricing, capacity, and service levels.\nSupport carrier procurement, network allocation, and commercial negotiations.\nDevelop pricing strategies and maintain the global rate database to ensure pricing accuracy and competitiveness.\nProduct & Network Development\nIdentify opportunities to expand Air Direct, charter, and strategic airfreight solutions.\nDevelop value-added products and industry-specific solutions for key verticals.\nDrive innovation to strengthen the product portfolio and respond to changing customer requirements.\nOperational Excellence & Digitalization\nPartner with Operations to ensure consistent product execution across the network.\nLead initiatives focused on process standardization, SOP development, capacity optimization, automation, and digital transformation.\nCollaborate with Digital and IT teams to improve connectivity, visibility, data quality, and operational efficiency.\nPromote sustainable and technology-driven solutions that enhance customer experience and operational performance.\nCross-Functional Leadership\nLead cross-functional projects involving Sales, Operations, Procurement, Pricing, Finance, IT, and Global Product teams.\nDevelop and deliver product training, market intelligence, and strategic recommendations.\nManage airline incentive programs and commercial initiatives that strengthen carrier partnerships and business performance.\nFoster collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.\nEducational Background / Work Experience\nBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum seven (7) years of experience in Product Management, Airfreight, Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain, or Logistics.\nExperience managing transportation products, airline procurement, pricing, and commercial initiatives.\nExperience leading cross-functional projects in a matrix organization.\nInternational freight forwarding experience with a focus on Airfreight preferred.\nSkills & Competencies\nStrategic thinking with strong commercial and financial acumen.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.\nKnowledge of global Airfreight operations, airline procurement, pricing, and network planning.\nStrong negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder influencing skills.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.\nAbility to lead change, drive innovation, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nResults-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to deliver measurable business outcomes.\nLanguage skills\nFluent in English (oral and written).\nSpanish preferred \nComputer Literacy\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and relevant software.\nExperience with data analysis and market research tools.\nAt Will Employment\nDSV Air & Sea Inc. employees are hired for an undefined period of time as “at will” employees.
