Read more at www.dsv.com\nLocation: USA - Lancaster, Midpoint Dr\nDivision: Solutions\nJob Posting Title: Supervisor, Inventory\nTime Type: Full Time\nCompensation:\n$\nSchedule:\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\nThe Supervisor, Inventory Control and Quality Assurance is responsible for maintaining perpetual record integrity in distribution to ensure inventory accuracy through the administration of the cycle count program and the thorough analysis and response to miscellaneous issues and receipts. The Inventory Supervisor is also responsible for overseeing the functions performed by inventory associates and other such staff.\nAs part of the DSV team, Associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality. Associates are expected to comply with all corporate and site-specific policies.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nLead and oversee a team of hourly associates and team leads responsible for Inventory Control activities while supporting problem-solving efforts across site operations. \nCoordinate workforce planning and daily staffing assignments to ensure operational priorities are effectively supported. \nMonitor key performance indicators on a regular basis and evaluate data to identify process trends contributing to defects or performance gaps. \nReview daily cycle count results and reconcile variances between physical inventory and system records. \nInvestigate discrepancies identified through directed cycle counts and ensure timely resolution of inventory differences. \nAudit daily inventory exception and error reports, implementing corrections and follow-up actions as required. \nAnalyze and communicate monthly inventory variance data from WMS reporting, including monthly and year-to-date cycle count performance metrics. \nEvaluate stock adjustment transactions to ensure alignment with product structures and inventory control standards. \nReview miscellaneous inventory receipts and issues, taking appropriate corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracy. \nSupport additional inventory control responsibilities, including transit reporting, shipping adjustments, and other operational tasks as assigned. \nAssist with associate engagement, employee relations, onboarding, and training initiatives. \nConduct routine warehouse audits to verify compliance with safety, security, and quality standards while promoting an organized and efficient work environment. \nPrepare and communicate professional correspondence, corrective and preventive action documentation, operational reports, attendance follow-ups, coaching documentation, and employee evaluations with a high degree of accuracy. \nFacilitate daily startup meetings to communicate priorities, encourage team participation, support employee development, and ensure alignment with operational objectives. \nFoster a positive and productive team environment through effective communication, coaching, and motivation while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. \nPartner with leadership to identify labor and equipment requirements needed to meet customer expectations, while developing team leads and ensuring associates are meeting performance expectations.\nOTHER DUTIES:\nPerforms other duties as required\nAssist management as needed\nAble to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends, as required by the operation.
