The Inventory Control Supervisor will be the primary customer contact for all inventory related enquiries and has the potential to grow in responsibility as the position evolves. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nReviews and implements all company inventory control strategies and policies to ensure consistent application across the site\nEnsures all inventory cycle counting and physical inventories are being coordinated as defined by the customer\nResponsible for sending daily / weekly / monthly reports and other communications to various clients\nResponsible for training Team Leads and Associates on inventory management and cycle counting processes\nEnsures that all inventory transactions and stock status reports are completed on a timely basis\nDevelop and implement methods to maintain accurate inventory levels at the facility\nRecognizes and takes steps to resolve inventory issues to minimize the impact on operations\nResearch inventory discrepancies and provide root cause analysis\nRecommend process improvements needing adjustment identified through root cause analysis.\nMaintain inventory accuracy by verifying that all transactions are correctly documented and recorded in CW and WMS platforms.\nCoordinate with Operations and Receiving teams to ensure the prompt and efficient resolution of inventory discrepancies.\nAssist in and facilitate API and periodic audits, partnering with clients as needed.\nEnsure compliance with company and regulatory guidelines related to inventory management and storage.\nPromote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the inventory control team.\nQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE\nHigh School or GED or equivalent combination of experience and education to successfully perform the essential functions of the position or B.S. or B.A. in Business, Supply Chain Management, or other associated majors\n3 to 4 years in a high-volume warehouse distribution facility\nAbility to multi-task, motivate others and build effective teams\nLOCATION: 2200 Yukon Court, Milton, ON, L9E 1N5\nDSV - Global transport and logistics\nWhat moves you?\nAt DSV, we move more than goods.
