This position plays a critical role in developing pricing strategies, responding to requests for proposals (RFPs), and ensuring competitive positioning in the market.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nLead the process of responding to tenders and requests for proposals (RFPs) specific to Air freight.\nAnalyze customer requirements and collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive responses.\nDevelop and implement air pricing strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.\nConduct competitive analysis to ensure the competitiveness of pricing structures.\nStay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor pricing.\nProvide insights and recommendations based on market research.\nCollaborate with sales, operations, and other departments to create compelling and competitive proposals.\nEnsure accuracy and completeness in all tender submissions.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with key customers.\nEngage with clients to understand their needs and tailor proposals accordingly.\nParticipate in contract negotiations with clients to secure favorable terms.\nCollaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance.\nAnalyze historical data and trends to optimize pricing models.\nProvide data-driven recommendations for pricing adjustments.\nPrepare and present regular reports on tender performance, win/loss analysis, and pricing effectiveness.\nMonitor and report on market and competitor activities.\nEducational background / Work experience\nBachelor's degree in marketing, business, logistics, or a related field.\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in tender management, marketing, or pricing\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong understanding of logistics and transportation industry dynamics.\nExcellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.\nProficient in market research and competitive analysis.\nExceptional communication and presentation skills.\nNegotiation skills and experience in contract negotiations.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.\nFunction / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Processes\nSupervisory Responsibilities (if any)\nThis position may involve leading cross-functional teams during the tender process.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree in business administration or a related field.\nCertification in pricing strategy or logistics.\nPrevious experience with tender management software.\nLanguage skills\nFluent in English (oral and written)\nComputer Literacy\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\nFamiliarity with tender management software and data analysis tools.\n\nAt Will Employment\nDSV Air & Sea Inc. employees are hired for an undefined period of time as “at will” employees.
