Read more at www.dsv.com\nLocation: USA - VIRTUAL - US Texas\nDivision: Solutions\nJob Posting Title: Training Manager, WMS\nTime Type: Full Time\nPosition Summary \nThe DSV WMS Training Manager is responsible for successful implementation and delivery of Trainings in Warehouse Management System (WMS) and supporting processes to DSV Contract Logistics sites. The WMS Training Manager delivers functional and business process expertise in multidiscipline project teams. Ensuring high quality in time deliverables. Activities will be based out of one of the DSV Solutions clusters in the region.\nTravel Expectations: 60% to 80%\nEssential Duties and Responsibilites \nPlan and execute training(s) on location. All over AMER-Region \nFacilitate online training. \nComfortable performing in front of an audience. \nContinuous improvement of training(s) and training material content \nOrganize training (training calendar and organization with local site) \nCooperate with engineering on the WMS set-up. \nOn site go-live support, and after-care. \nTesting training programs \nMaintain up-to-date revisions of training materials. \nAdministration of tests and exam results in the central database \nTrain key- and end-users on designed processes and functionalities \nCreate functional designs for internal and external reports and documents. \nGatekeeper for warehouse process standardization \nProvide regular scheduled project updates to internal and external stakeholders. \nAdvocate and sell best practices and standardization to internal (and external) parties. \nBuilds and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand and anticipate customer needs for specific projects. \nOther duties as assigned by management to support special projects, implementations, process improvements. \nRequired Skills & Competencies\nCertificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations\nDriving License\nMinimum RequiredQualifications \nEducation and/or Experience\nMust have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). \n2 years’ experience in working in a project-based environment.\nExcellent communication, presentation and organizational skills\nStrong and energetic personality, able to communicate on operations as well as management level.\nSkills Knowledge and Abilities\nComputer Skills\nProficiency in one or more WMS\nMS Office Suite\nLanguage Skills\nEnglish (reading, writing, verbal)\nPreferably Spanish (reading, writing, verbal)\nMathematical Skills\nBasic to intermediate level to verify quantities of product, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing, and distributing client products. \nOther\nHigh level of independency and self-driven\nAble to articulate and voice own opinion.\nReadiness to travel - can be on short notice. \nAble to travel domestically and internationally (including Europe).\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combinations of education and work experience.\nExtensive knowledge on warehouse processes and supporting system landscapes.\n3-5 years of experience with JDA WMS (dispatcher preferred) or other major WMS products.\nProfound Logistical and/or Supply Chain Management process understanding. \nExperienced in working on small, fast paced project teams.\nSQL proficiency is a plus.\nPotential Physical Demands\nOccasionally\nBending\nWalking and Standing\nAbility to Lift/Carry and Push/Pull\nReach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.\n\nOther Physical Requirements:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear.
