This role ensures accurate billing, efficient administrative processes, and smooth coordination between the warehouse and office functions. The Supervisor will manage a team, implement best practices, and maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nOversee all administrative functions related to warehouse operations.\nEnsure proper documentation and record-keeping for inventory, shipments, and deliveries.\nImplement and maintain efficient office procedures and workflows.\nSupervise the billing process to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.\nReview and reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve any issues with clients or internal departments.\nEnsure compliance with company billing policies and procedures.\nLead, mentor, and develop the administrative and billing team.\nAssign tasks, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching.\nConduct performance evaluations and address any performance issues.\nAct as a liaison between the warehouse and office functions to ensure seamless operations.\nCoordinate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely information flow.\nCommunicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.\nEnsure all administrative and billing activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.\nImplement and maintain quality control processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.\nConduct regular audits and reviews of administrative and billing practices.\nPrepare and present regular reports on billing accuracy, administrative efficiency, and team performance.\nAnalyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost savings.\nProvide insights and recommendations to senior management.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.\nStreamline administrative and billing procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.\nStay updated on industry trends and incorporate new technologies and methods as appropriate.\nEducational background / Work experience\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, or a related field.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in administration, billing, or office management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.\nExperience in the transportation and logistics industry is preferred.\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong organizational and administrative skills.\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills.\nLeadership and team management capabilities.\nFunction / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Processes\nSupervisory Responsibilities (if any)\nLead and manage the administrative and billing team.\nProvide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with warehouse management systems and billing software.\nKnowledge of industry regulations and best practices in logistics and transportation.\nCertification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is a plus.\nLanguage skills\nFluent in English (oral and written)\nComputer Literacy\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.\nExperience with warehouse management and billing software.\nFamiliarity with data analysis and reporting tools.\nAt Will Employment\nDSV Air & Sea Inc. employees are hired for an undefined period of time as “at will” employees.
