The team delivers high-quality information through activities that include development of essential, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client needs and implementing data standards and governance.\nPay and Benefits:\nCompetitive compensation, including base pay and annual incentive\nComprehensive health and life insurance and well-being benefits, based on location\nPension / Retirement benefits\nPaid Time Off and Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.\nDTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).\nThe Impact you will have in this role:\nBeing a member of IT Cybersecurity & Platform Engineering team, the Associate Director, AI Security & Data Protection Engineering serves as a technical leader responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling DTCC's data protection capabilities across AI platforms, GenAI services, agentic workflows, cloud environments, and enterprise collaboration channels.\nThe role combines deep expertise in data protection, security architecture, AI risk management, and engineering leadership to ensure sensitive information is appropriately governed throughout the AI lifecycle. The successful candidate will partner closely with Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Engineering, Data Management, and Application Development teams to define and implement technical controls that enable AI adoption while protecting DTCC's most sensitive information.\nThis position will lead the design and implementation of controls including AI-aware DLP, automated classification and labeling, AI security guardrails, DSPM integrations, data access governance, prompt and response protections, model interaction controls, and secure AI development practices.\nThe ideal candidate combines hands-on technical expertise with the ability to influence enterprise strategy, drive complex initiatives, and provide technical leadership across multiple security and engineering teams.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nAI Security Architecture & Technical Leadership\nData Protection Engineering\nAI Security Controls & Governance\nPlatform Integration & Engineering Delivery\nAI Threat Analysis, Detection & Continuous Improvement\nProgram Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement\nNOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above.*\nQualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.\nMinimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, data protection, information security, or security engineering.\nMinimum 3 years leading complex technical initiatives or security programs.\nExperience delivering security solutions within financial services or another highly regulated industry preferred\nTalents Needed for Success:\nRequired\nDeep understanding of Data Protection technologies, controls and governance frameworks\nStrong understanding of AI, GenAI, LLMs, AI agents, and associated security risks.\nExperience designing and implementing enterprise-scale security solutions.\nStrong knowledge of:Data security and Data Governance\nCloud security \nEncryption and key management\nSecure software development practices\nAI Security \n\nExperience leading technical implementations across multiple engineering.\nStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nFinancial Services or highly regulated industry experience.\nExperience translating complex technical requirements into scalable enterprise solutions\nPreferred\nExperience securing Generative AI platforms and AI-enabled applications.\nExperience with RAG architectures, vector databases, AI gateways, and AI security controls.\nFamiliarity with emerging AI security frameworks and industry standards.\nExperience establishing security guardrails for enterprise AI adoption.\nRelevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Azure Security Engineer, Microsoft Security, or equivalent credential\nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
