This is a highly technical, hands-on quality engineering role requiring strong Java development and/or automation experience, deep expertise in API testing, smark contract testing, and the ability to build and maintain automated test solutions for complex distributed systems. The successful candidate will understand both the big-picture business workflow and the underlying technical architecture, ensuring quality across Web2 and Web3 systems, event-driven architecture and blockchain networks.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and execute end-to-end test scenarios validating critical business workflows across multiple applications, systems, and blockchain platforms.\nDevelop and maintain automated test solutions using Java, with a strong focus on API, backend, integration, and event-driven testing.\nLeverage AI and Generative AI tools to accelerate test design, automation development, test data generation, and defect analysis.\nValidate blockchain-specific functionality including tokenization, digital wallets, smart contracts, asset conversion, transaction processing, and reconciliation workflows.\nPartner with business, product, architecture, and development teams to understand requirements and ensure complete end-to-end coverage.\nCommunicate testing progress, risks, and quality insights effectively to project leadership and senior stakeholders to access release readiness.\n**NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 8+ years of relevant experience\nBachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience\nTalents Needed for Success:\n8+ years of hands on experience Test Automation, or Strong programming/developent experience in Java\nDeep expertise in API, backend, integration, and test automation frameworks.\nExperience testing distributed systems, microservices, messaging platforms, or event-driven architectures.\nExpertise in applying AI tools to develop/optimize test automation.\nStrong understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering practices.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to understand the big picture and translate complex business processes into effective end-to-end test strategies.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Blockchain, Smart Contracts, Ethereum/EVM platforms, or Distributed Ledger Technologies\nExperience with Kafka, real-time processing, and cloud-native platforms.\nCertification in JAVA, AI, AWS\nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
