The program includes orientation, training, manager engagement, feedback milestones, networking, and development experiences that help students explore potential full-time career paths, including EDGE where applicable.\nWhat you will gain\nHands-on work connected to real business priorities, not only observation or administrative tasks.\n\nStructured orientation and training to help you understand DTCC, the industry, and your business area.\n\nManager support, mentorship, peer connection, and opportunities to build your network.\n\nDevelopment experiences focused on communication, feedback, professional skills, and career readiness.\n\nMid-point and final feedback to help you understand your strengths, development areas, and potential next steps.\n\nExposure to DTCC culture, values, and community engagement.\n\nWhat you will do\nRole Responsibilities\nSupport cyber security, risk management, governance, and awareness initiatives across a variety of programs and projects.\n\nAssist with gathering, analyzing, and reporting on information, metrics, documentation, and other materials that support cyber security activities.\n\nCollaborate with technology, security, risk, and business stakeholders to support ongoing initiatives, business objectives, and program deliverables.\n\nResearch emerging cyber security risks, trends, technologies, and industry practices, and help document findings, observations, and recommendations.\n\nContribute to reporting, presentations, communications, and process improvement efforts that support program oversight, operational efficiency, and informed decision-making.\n\nWhat will help you succeed\nRequired\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in cyber security, management information systems, risk management, or a related field.\n\nExpected graduation date: Spring 2028\n\nMinimum GPA: 3.2\n\nAuthorization to work permanently in the United States without current or future sponsorship.\n\nInterest in cyber security or technology risk, demonstrated through coursework, projects, or experience.\n\nPreferred\nCoursework, projects, prior work, internship, student organization, volunteer, or leadership experience related to the role.\n\nInterest in financial services, technology, operations, risk, data, business, or the specific business area.\n\nExposure to control frameworks and familiarity with core IT and security concepts is a plus.\n\nWhat makes you successful\nCuriosity, initiative, and willingness to ask questions.\n\nStrong communication, organization, and follow-through.\n\nAnalytical thinking and attention to detail.\n\nAbility to use feedback and adapt as you learn.\n\nCollaboration, professionalism, and accountability.\n\nBenefits and work model\nCompetitive hourly compensation.\n\nHybrid work model: 3 days in office and 2 days remote, based on team schedule.\n\nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
