You will partner with senior leaders, influence strategic decisions, modernize critical data capabilities, and leave a lasting impact on the future of the business.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nDefine and execute the enterprise data architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business and regulatory objectives. \nEstablish architecture standards, governance frameworks, reference architectures, and best practices that drive consistency, scalability, and innovation. \nLead the design of modern data platforms, integration architectures, and data products that enable enterprise-wide analytics and decision-making. \nPartner with business, technology, risk, compliance, and product teams to align data initiatives with strategic priorities. \nChampion data governance, metadata management, data quality, lineage, and stewardship across the enterprise. \nEvaluate emerging technologies and guide platform modernization and investment decisions to support long-term business objectives.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Advanced degree preferred. \n12+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Data Engineering, or related disciplines, including leadership experience within large-scale enterprise environments.\nTalent Needed for Success\nDeep expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, and DAMA-DMBOK. \nProven experience designing and governing enterprise data architectures, reference architectures, and architecture standards. \nStrong expertise in modern cloud data platforms and architectures, including Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, or Google BigQuery. \nExperience designing scalable data integration solutions, including ETL/ELT, CDC, event-driven architectures, APIs, and Lakehouse platforms. \nKnowledge of Data Mesh, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), semantic modeling, and data product strategies. \nDeep understanding of Financial Services data domains, including Risk, Regulatory Reporting, Trade & Position, Payments, KYC, Reference Data, and General Ledger. \nStrong experience with architecture governance, documentation, and enterprise decision-making processes.\nLeadership Capabilities\nShape the Future: Define and champion an enterprise data vision that drives innovation, transformation, and business growth. \nInfluence at Scale: Align executive stakeholders around strategic priorities and measurable business outcomes. \nLead Through Excellence: Establish governance, standards, and architecture practices that balance scalability, resilience, and innovation. \nDevelop Talent: Build and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. \nCreate Lasting Impact: Deliver modern data capabilities that enable trusted insights and enterprise success.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience implementing enterprise-scale Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage programs. \nKnowledge of Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, Apache Hudi, and Master Data Management (MDM) solutions. \nExperience leading technology evaluations, vendor selection, and enterprise platform modernization initiatives. \nFinancial Services experience within highly regulated environments.\nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
