The Lead DevOps Engineer will work closely with engineering teams to establish and maintain DevOps best practices, including CI/CD automation, infrastructure reliability, observability, and secure deployment patterns. This individual will contribute to platform design discussions, provide technical guidance, and help ensure solutions are built with scalability, resiliency, and security in mind. In this role, you will collaborate with both in-house engineering teams and external vendor partners to integrate platform components and deliver production-ready Web3 capabilities. You will coordinate with globally distributed teams, supporting them through hands-on troubleshooting, environment improvements, tooling enhancements, and automation initiatives. In addition, you will partner with cross-functional groups, including architecture, risk, and security, to ensure platform solutions meet DTCC’s compliance, reliability, and operational standards. Your contributions will directly support DTCC’s mission to deliver a stable, secure, and scalable Web3 platform for production workloads.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nDesign, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support the development and deployment of our applications\nCollaborate with software engineers, system administrators, and other team members to identify and implement efficient and reliable solutions\nAutomate processes and tasks to improve efficiency and scalability\nImplement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes\nProvide technical support and assistance to the development team\nMonitor, analyze, and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security\nDefine and implement appropriate monitoring and alerting systems for timely identification and resolution of incidents\nMaintain and enhance the security of our infrastructure, applications, and systems, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements\nProvide On-call Weekly/Weekend off-hour L3-4 support on a rotational schedule with other team members \nDevelop and maintain system documentation \nStay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in DevSecOps and cybersecurity\n**NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **\nQualifications:\nMinimum 6 years’ experience in Infrastructure as a Code Development (IAC) skills using DevSecops pipeline \nProven experience in DevSecOps or a similar role\nStrong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP or AWS\nBachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience \nTalents Needed for Success:\nAzure DLT (Besu, Canton) \nAzure (e.g., Azure VMs, VNet, Azure AD, Key Vault, Storage, Functions) \nDevOps (Experience with CI/CD tools and secure software development practices) \nProficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go, TypeScript, or Java) \nGit-based workflows and DevOps tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD) \nCNAPP \nStrong hands-on experience with Terraform and Bicep (or CloudFormation for AWS) \nNetworking, IAM Policies, cloud-native security controls \nWe offer top class training and development for you to be an asset in our organization!\nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
