The role of EDSO is to enable the broader organization to operate using DevSecOps and automation principles by providing a combination of platform, process, and culture direction. DSO Customer Care Team function provides first- line support for DSO Services, ensuring end users can leverage the full capabilities within the DSO toolset.The Lead DevOps Engineer is a Senior Associate role and will provide required support to EDSO Products and services.\nResponsibilities:\nSupport and maintenance of DevOps products, tools and services that support our continuous integration, continuous deployment/delivery capabilities, and automated provisioning on both cloud and On-Prem Platforms.\nAnalyze issues/failures in products and services and identify common themes, root cause and remediation actions that will strengthen the stability and reliability of the product.\nLead incident and problem management by collaborating with various teams to ensure customer issues are resolved timely and efficiently.\nDevelop and contribute to knowledge base, process, and procedure documentation.\nImplement proactive monitoring of tools, services, and infrastructure at all tiers to help reduce unplanned outage time.\nCollaborate with the development and infrastructure teams to improve and support software features through agile, continuous integration, and continuous delivery/deployment (CI/CD) processes.\nWork with respective SMEs on maintaining health, monitoring, alerting, and reporting tools (CloudWatch, etc.)\nContribute to technical process improvements across a variety of fields such as training, agile, and modern development practices.\nLead by example through demonstration of high performance in the areas of customer service, collaboration, teamwork, reliability, efficiency, and execution.\nStrong customer service skills and an ability to interact at all levels of the organization (customers, technical teams, and senior executives).\nProvide after business hours support and 24x7 on-call support on a rotational basis.\nDevelop and maintain knowledge and expertise on EDSO products and services.\nSupport the training of team members on all products and services.\nProvide guidance on solving of complex issues.\nAssist the leadership in managing escalations. \nJob Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any), Technology Management or related field and 10 years of experience in the job or related position OR a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any), Technology Management or related field and 8 years of experience in the job or related position. Prior education, training or experience to include:\n6 years IT industry experience with skills using DevOps tools to automate software development process.\nApplication Development experience with programming languages such as Java, Java script, and Angular,\nApplication or Infrastructure Support experience.\nAdministration experience in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, JIRA, Fortify, SonarQube, and Nexus\nExperience with technologies and platforms including UNIX/Linux, Git, Maven, OpenShift, Chef, Kubernetes, Docker, across the Finance and Service Sector\nScripting/programming experience using groovy, python, terraform, bash or ksh and PowerShell.\nAWS Cloud services such as compute, networking, and security.\nImplementation experience in Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Delivery and DevOps Operations for Agile projects.\nExperience in supporting systems from an infrastructure, code, and security perspective.\nExperience in issue/bug tracking tools (JIRA)\nIncident, Problem, and Change Management ITIL processes\nLinux systems\nProgramming languages such as Java, Angular and Python\nLOCATION: Jersey City, NJ. Telecommuting may be permitted a few days a week.
