The ETE family encompasses three major areas including (a) functional testing, (b) non-functional testing, and (c) test architecture and enablement. Other key focuses include: regression testing, browser testing, performance testing, capacity and stress testing, resiliency testing, environment management services, and infrastructure testing. Develops, conducts, and evaluates testing processes, working closely with developers to remediate identified system defects. In-depth knowledge of automated testing tools, and quality control and assurance approaches including the creation of reusable foundational test automation framework for the entire organization. The Performance Test Engineering role is responsible for the validation of non-functional requirements for performance testing.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nDevelop proven grasp of the DTCC Software Delivery process, Performance Test Engineering framework, CoE (Center of Excellence) Engagement process as well as understanding of tech-stack (tools and technologies) to perform day-to-day job\nPrepare, maintain, and implement performance/resiliency test scenarios based on non-functional requirements and follow standard DTCC testing guidelines\nAutomate performance test scenarios by using current automated functional and performance test scripts in compliance with the non-functional framework\nMaintain traceability across Non-Functional Requirements, Performance Test Scenarios and Defects\nReview of performance and resiliency test scenarios from both a technical and business perspective with collaborators, such as development teams and business\nTrack defects to closure, report test results, continuously supervise execution achievements and call out as required\nContribute to the technical aspects of Delivery Pipeline adoption for performance testing and improve adoption\nIdentify environmental and data requirements; collaborate with Development and Testing teams to manage and maintain environment and data\nProvide mentorship to team members related to performance/resiliency test coverage, performance/resiliency test scenarios, and non-functional requirements\nDevelop a basic understanding of the product being delivered including architecture considerations and technical design of the supported applications in relations to the performance, resiliency and scalability.\nWork with Development and Architecture teams and find opportunities to improve the test coverage. Share suggestions for performance improvements\nAligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; raises appropriately\n\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 6 years of related experience\nBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience\nTalents Needed for Success:\nFosters a culture where honesty and transparency are expected.\nStays current on changes in his/her own specialist area and seeks out learning opportunities to ensure knowledge is up-to-date.\nInvests effort to individually coach others.\nBuilds collaborative teams across the organization.\nCommunicates openly keeping everyone across the organization informed.\nExperience in performance engineering (analysis, testing, and tuning)\nExperience in Resiliency and Chaos engineering\nExpertise in load testing tools, such as JMeter, LoadRunner etc.\nExperience with Snowflake tasks, warehouse, components and optimization\nExperience with AWS services (Kinesis, Elastic Beanstalk, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc)\nExperience with CI/CD pipeline implementations, including testing, using Jenkins or similar tool\nExpertise in performance analysis of distributed platforms including Linux, Windows, AWS, Containers and VMware (tools: Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, CloudWatch, TeamQuest)\nExtensive knowledge of the functionality and performance aspects of the above computing platforms\nExperience working in Unix or Linux environments\nExperience in sophisticated statistical and analytical modeling\nExcellent analytical skills including:\nData exploration, analysis and presentation applying descriptive statistics and graphical techniques\nTime series analysis and forecasting\nKey Performance and volume metrics relationship modeling\nUnderstanding of queuing networks modeling and simulation modeling concepts and experience with one of the industry standard analytic modeling tools - TeamQuest, Metron-Athenee, HyPerformix, and BMC\nExperience in scripting (Perl, Unix shell, Python, Terraform, Chef, Jenkins)\nExperience using JMS/IBM-MQ messaging system\nUnderstanding of RESTful web service, JSON, and XML\nExperience in Relational Databases, preferably Oracle\nExpert MS Office skills. Effective use of Excel statistical functions and sophisticated Power Point presentation skills\nExperience working with Agile teams (preferably scrum)\nExperience in the financial services industry is good to have\nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
