You will develop, conduct, and evaluate testing processes, working closely with developers to remediate identified system defects. You will have in-depth knowledge of automated testing tools, and quality control and assurance approaches including the creation of reusable foundational test automation framework for the entire organization. You are also responsible for the validation of non-functional requirements for performance testing\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nDevelop proven grasp of the DTCC Software Delivery process, Performance Test Engineering framework, CoE (Center of Excellence) Engagement process as well as understanding of tech-stack (tools and technologies) to perform day-to-day job\nDevelop a strong understanding of the logical architecture and technical design of the applications being supported\nWork closely with application development, IT Architecture, and other key partners to understand application design and baseline against the defined resiliency principles\nCreate performance/resiliency test scenarios and synthetic test data as per the data distribution and volume requirements\nMaintain traceability across Non-Functional Requirements, Performance Test Scenarios and Defects\nDevelop resiliency/performance test automation scripts leveraging Jmeter / Gremlin / in-house test automation framework \nContribute to the technical aspects of Delivery Pipeline adoption\nTrack defects to closure, report test results, continuously monitor execution milestones and escalate as required\nAdhere to all process standards, guidelines, and documented procedures\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 6 years of related experience\nBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience\nTalents Needed for Success:\nBasic Java / Selenium development skills with significant experience applying those skills in test environments.\nChaos Engineering / Resiliency Testing experience for distributed applications using tools like Gremlin or AWS FIS\nAble to interpret technical designs and specifications and design automated solutions accordingly.\nExperience working in Unix/Linux environments and developing shell scripts\nExperience in performance engineering (analysis, testing, and tuning) and developing scripts using Jmeter\nExperience in Relational Databases, preferably Oracle\nKnowledge of performance analysis of distributed platforms including Linux, Windows, AWS, Containers and VMware (tools: Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, CloudWatch, TeamQuest)\nCapable of working on multiple work streams concurrently in a fast-paced environment with multi-tasking and context switching.\nExperience with AWS tools a plus\nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
